So, what happened today?

Looking to do the same soon. Was all set to spend a fair few bucks on a restaurant's Texas brisket but then the ass-clown owner insisted on challenging local lockdown laws and serve customers inside, jammed in with no masks. Got busted three straight days, had protests that needed police presence and set off all sorts of bitching from other businesses that are affected.

That put me off buying his food if he's that reckless about health when the Toronto area is racking up about 1,200 positive virus cases daily. Pretty sure he deliberately baited the cops and city officials as a publicity stunt. He operates 3 other locations around Toronto that didn't run afoul of the law.

But now, having viewed their videos for making brisket on a barbecue, I've got an itching to cook one myself. I'll probably give it about 3-4 hours in the oven to start, then transfer it to the BBQ and let it finish with a tray of hickory sticks smoldering away below to give it some added zing. And I'll save about $100.

Are you in Toronto?

You got it, Pontiac. In the belly of the beeste, East York.

I don't/won't have any BBQ-ed brisket to share. :)

Love Toronto, stayed with my mate on Soho Street off Queen Street West loads, love Queen Street, cool vibe, loads of cool places to eat and drink.

Great Korean place called odd Seoul on Ossington, great food.

I brought a load of games and they arrived so been playing them today and doing some colouring with my little one

Jenga, Uno, Dobble and Buckaroo

Today we had planned to eat last night's left over Daal for dinner but we put Home Alone on and they have all that Pizza delivered and I don't think you can watch that movie without crazing a good Pizza. So we got Pizza.

At the cabin with the family and the mother in law. Ate and drank too much. Now I'm stuffed and struggling to sleep.

I'm gonna go do chores to pass the time. Done Tesco shop already. Now gonna pop to Super drug for some toiletries that Tesco didn't have. Might play some chess with the oldest who now isn't far off being able to beat me. Just need to keep busy.
