Decent, definitely not great. Defending getting better. Still can't play through pressure or keep possession ageinst high pressing teams, but nothing new.

Lacing confidence and a bit of flow, but some good moments and good fighting spirit. Much more clever getting over the line towards the end.

Onwards and upwards. Need to improve, but it takes time.

@milo

I never ever thought I would say this, but in a quite poor performance - especially from our Super Duo - I would nominate Sissoko. Yes he dallied the ball out before the goal, but the defensive pickup in front was brilliant. He had a slow start, but made A LOT of crucial defensive interceptions, and while Højbjerg and Dier did well too let's switch it up for once.

Sissoko.

Well, Solksjaer is now on seriously wobbly legs. Pochettino in the wings. The Popguns winning at a big 6 rival for the first time since George Graham. Giant talking points for bigger audiences than Spurs pipping mighty Brighton.

I didn't spent my time illegally streaming a channel called "pearooster" for that rubbish ha :)

Meh. 3 torpid matches in a row. And we go second in the table?! This game. Meh.

Hojbjerg deserves the MoM for huge energy and defensive cover and keeping us moving, but boy did we look shorn of ideas.

Look

We know we can attack and blow teams away

Now we're seeing signs we can grind out results and defend when we need to.

You'd think as a fan base we'd be happy but again it's so much negatively. Brighton battered Utd and gave Chelsea a good game. It's like people think anyone outside the top 6 should be a walkover. They had the ball bit created nothing, we scored sat too deep and when they scored turned it up a notch and got the win.

3 points, job done.

From supporters of a team that historically slip up in these games all of a sudden we've got expensive tastes.

It's hopefully a good sign that we aren't playing well and still winning.
The team and shape is still fairly new.

What's crazy, is Liverpool have City away next week - we could go top!! COYS! :)

Yep, and I’m still rueing those two dropped points vs Saudi Sportswashing Machine for the terrible handball decision... we’d be top now, not that that actually matters as much as the two points at this stage.
