I've seen much worse Spurs reserves sides get tonked.

Shots on target is OK, Lloris hasn't done more than Mendy.

Werner just has that elite level finishing like Kane, where they kick it hard into the corner and you think "why doesn't everyone just do that?"

I'm quite happy with 0-1 as it could have gone a lot worse and we are still in it, if we keep it 0-1 we can pressure later on.

We just need to keep it tight, not let them get a second as that will be all over.

Yes, was the performance against Everton any worse?

I think it’ll be an option for each broadcaster, I don’t think it’s coming from the stadium PA.

really?

my assumption is it’s done in the stadium as it’s always so heavily skewed to the home team, also, why would broadcasters add it, surely nobody watching on TV wants it

Ndombele, Bergwijn and Sissoko do fudge all for an entire half.

Lamela wins the ball, takes the game on, tries to make things happen.

Our dingdong head fans: "fudging Lamela!!"

Wins the ball, takes the game on, holds on to it to long, refuses to pass, loses the ball. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Sissoko is Sissoko I dont even bother commenting on him anymore. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing. :)

Bergwjn and Ndombele have admittedly been poor and guess what, if and when they get the ball they do the same dumb brick that Lamela does then i'll criticise them too. I don't have favourites like you clearly do with Lamela.

It's added by the broadcaster. I much prefer it without crowd noise but I can't find one on Sky tonight

You criticise every Lamela mistake, don't see you doing it for any other player. I don't have favourites, I just don't rag on players who are trying to make things happen. Never will.

The Everton game was the first team in the PL.
This is the reserves in the Carabao Cup against a team that spent £1.5bn they didn't earn.

Apologies, I meant to say 'was the first half any worse than the Everton performance'

Jose right now, telling the lads:

Come on, show me your balls, you are all fa-fa-fa-fi, fa-fa-fa-foo, fa-fi, fa-foo, come on guys, this is important, show me your balls, you need big balls, fackinel boys, come on...

Well it’s not as bad as I thought at least, I had visions of someone with a soundboard sat in the announcers booth abusing it to encourage the players, I’ve been quite angry at what I thought was unfair theoretical momentum building.

At a loss as to what Sky think it adds though.

Aim has to be to be no worse than 1-0 down with 20 mins to go and then take off a CB and Gedson for Kane and Moura and see what we can do
