From memory The Goat is a combination of a few different ‘ITKs’ (GHod I hate that phrase). It does call a few things right, but normally no more than speculative fluff. But it did call Doherty well before it was in the media as I remember was posted on here and people were saying they didn’t believe it....

Yeah, I think it's just a created face for snippets of 'knowledge' from various places to be publicised when, for whatever reason, no existing individual wants to put it forward themselves. Alleged the source of the knowledge is vetted before being allowed to be put out in public
 
I’ve seen Watkins play for Exeter a few times, never stood out.

Good numbers last season but I can’t see him being a 1 in 2 consistently.
 
I’m pleased if the link to Van der Beek is true as it means we must have some cash to spend before we make sales. Him choosing a CL qualified United over us is understandable too.

Don't think we can conclude with that. We might have been interested, but that could very well have depended on outgoings.

Aly Gold had indicated we were interested in him a while back (and have been tracking him), but it was always unlikely as it wasn't a priority position and we weren't going to be in a bidding war with the likes of United

Maybe I’d read it as the bid was made and the player had the choice, but if not then it’s a not really a difficult choice at all!

Go to Man U who have stumped the cash up already and or wait and see if Spurs can raise the cash.

Conversations like that happen all the time between international team mates, we just only usually hear about it when it has a positive outcome (Eriksen and Hojberg for example).
