Thats it too. Jose can't afford to fail especially in this fashion where the performances are clueless and he's being negative all the time and hanging players in public. His reputation and future employability is as much at risk as his job at Spurs.
Sky Pundit will be his next long term job way it’s going.

there will be no clear out!
We will have a battle to keep top players.
We need a younger more spirited manager, Jose is not a Spurs fit.

Said it the day he signed, said it since, will say it again now - and this has nothing to do with the result tonight.

What is the plan for Jose and the transition of this squad? Cheque book? Unlikely.

Development of existing squad with addition of few low cost youngsters? Don’t see him as the man for that.

So what’s the plan?

I see.
SAF was allowed to build three or four different squads over the years there. And that is where Levy fudging blew it. He could've had a legacy here. He fudged it at every critical juncture, starting by not listening to Pochettino 18 months ago.
What was it 18 months ago that Poch said that he didn’t listen too?

Was Poch ready to sacrifice some of his favourites, when at their pomp, like Whisky Nose often did? Not convinced he can be totally absolved of how long in the tooth our squad has been allowed to get.

Yes he was.
He tried to as I understand it.
Remember when he had dinner with Eriksen summer before last? The one where he heard first-hand that Eriksen wouldn't re-sign? Fill in the blanks mate, except Levy demanded what, 150-180 million?

That’s not the story I read.. he had dinner to persuade him and it was all cool. Eriksen then changed his tune at the end of the season

You can’t get rid of your best players without having suitable replacements ready. We have done that so many times and fudged several managers as a result. Think Jol with Carrick, think Ramos with Berbatov and Keane, think AVB and Modric.

So when a guy wants to leave, he'd let him? We'd still have the same defensive line etc, the physical demands of how he wanted them to play demanded far more churn than the odd player, imo.

Levy being tighter than a duck's just exacerbates the whole thing.

You clearly have an agenda. Or you're trolling. The internet never makes these things clear.

Because I don't agree with you I have an agenda or I'm trolling? You know what, get the fudge down from your pedal stool for once.

I don't believe Alli's on-field behaviour is conducive to an effective squad. I don't believe his constant bagging out of team mates is going to create a harmonious team atmosphere.

Also his fudging performances aren't good enough to allow him this perceived position of superiority/blame exemption.

His off field issues are a whoole seperate concern which I won't delve into, but the prick needs to have a long hard look in the mirror before blaming anyone else.

These are my views, I wish you'd respect them.
