Redknapp

Perhaps because you're scared of the answer...?

Scared?

Get a grip - it's the fudging internet, what the hell are you on about?

It's a brick, irrelevant 'question' - one that doesn't even deserve recognition, never mind an 'answer'. I don't give a monkies about Luis Suarez, that's the fudging point. I couldn't give a toss who he plays for, good luck to him. This thread is about Harry Redknapp and the mugs who want rid of him for no good reason.

Comprende?

Yes, I get it. You can't understand the point, being that whilst he has been relatively succesful with us he also has questionable conduct, especially profressionally and personally. Luis Suarez, whilst being a good and skilful player has questionable professional conduct.

Basically, are Redknapp's sucesses enough to totally neglect his conduct? If so, then it could be argued that so can Suarez's.

He knows exactly the points you and I are trying to make. I wouldnt bother, but thanks for trying.

The heavy lifting with the squad had been done already and to Harry's credit we signed players in the right positions that did a job for us. But Brad is 40, Scotty is 31 and Ade ain't our player so it's hardly a long term strategy. The rest of the team were at Spurs barring VDV and Harry said he wasn't involved in that one at all!! Look, he's done well, I'm just not having this feat of miracle you wanna hang round his neck. Each to their own.

Oh yeah, I'm not denying Harry didn't inherit a good squad - but it also lacked some players which Harry identified, brought into the club, and reaped instant rewards from. That's solid management in anyones' books is that. Moreover, he took the same group of players and had them all moving in the same, motivated direction - and achieving better results with them; something previous managers failed at.

I know what you're saying about a lack of long-term strategy and that's a fear I've also had - I used to think the answer was always to try and build a nice youthful team and all would be wonderful. It doesn't work though - we kinda tried that, and found that your team will end up lacking the leadership and experience which Harry identified and brought into the club. Following that, the club instantly moved up a level.

It's not a miracle, but it IS an achievement. You have to look at things holistically, and our peers were/are spending absolute fortunes to all try and exist in the same space. Relatively speaking, we spent fudge all - and yet, at the end of the season, we occupy one of those highly sought after places. It's not water into wine, but it's a tick box in the primary, minimum objective which Levy would've undoubtebly given him.

Oh yeah "doing well" ... but we'd never finished higher than 5th hadn't we? tinkling around in the Europa League.

Under Redknapp, we've never finished lower than 5th; finishing 4th twice. To that end, he raised the bar that those before him never could. There's incredible competition to finish 4th, and yet Redknapp has achieved the feat twice, and by not spending a great deal of money. Everyone around us ejaculating hundreds of millions on fees and wages, and yet Harry Redknapp spends a pittance - yet achieves objectives.

Look at how acute the risks are here mate: we don't have the headroom to fudge up like other clubs can. If we make a rick, we're fudged and it sets us back years. If most other clubs around us make a balls-up, they just wheel out their financial tanks to sort it.

But hey, maybe Levy thinks football management is a walk in the park? Maybe he thinks any old mug can just rock-up and win football matches? Pity it's taken him so fudging long to find a manager who could actually do that.

I believe the only reason we came 4th this year is because Liverpool under Dalgleish and Chelsea under AVB had worse years than we did and we cannot expect that to happen again, so Harry's achievement this year can't really be seen as outstanding. His team management in March/April was nothing less than appalling and he should be on his way asap.

I am glad that Martinez didn't go to Liverpool, it means we can approach Wigan for his services, but for GHod's sake Daniel, get rid of HR. Please. Soon..

Why did you bring up Billy Nic then? To suit your own agenda.

Are you serious? Wriggly brought him up - some might say to suit his agenda - and I responded, finding the comparison crass.

So I'll ask you to double check that for yourself and apologise.

I don't understand the point?

Oh dear, you really do think something of yourself don't you?

How fudging hard is it to understand that I couldn't give a monkies about "conduct"? It's wholly and utterly irrelevant. If you took your head out of your crack, you'd have understood from my post that my only concern is results. That's it.

So, with that in mind, why the fudge would I give a brick about answering some lame nonsense concerning Luis Suarez? Not really my problem if the person asking the question is too damn stupid to understand that not everyone gives a toss about whatever Harry Redknapp is saying this week. He wins football matches - more so than many hyped-up tacos before him. That's all I'm bothered about. I couldn't give a rats ass if he said Arsenal were the most amazing club he'd ever come across if, when we played them, he engineered a result over them. Results game.

Are you getting my drift? I sincerely hope so, as it's really not that difficult to understand.

And therein is the crux of the difference between you and others who both question Harry's results (i.e. he is not yet anywhere near Bill Nick Part II) AND his conduct.
I guess we can all leave it there and you can continue genuflecting at Harry's feet.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh congratulations! =D>

The penny's finally fudging dropped!

I'm happy for you; let it be a lesson.

No I didnt, I responded to a previous thread from someone else that said Harry has been the only one thats delivered since Bill Nic.

I'd like you to double check that and aplogise. Infact, dont bother with the apology.

Can someone explain the infraction thingy I've now got on my sig? Looks Cool!!
