The issues we had tonight, we've had all season. Movement and passing in the final third is not as clinical as it might be.

With no signings for 2 years of whatever, we're in the CL final and have a new stadium. Yes we were one game away from the CL. And we whimpered. Poch has not clocked how to get players set for the big games. But then pool were equally limp.

It was really just a joke at @Jon's expense.

We've done well in this competition but both teams were poor on the night. We should enjoy this team whilst we can. It could be a long wait before we get one this good again.

I'm not sure about that. If Levy backs Poch this summer then there's no reason why the next say 3-4 years can't be at least as good as the last 3-4 years.

I'd back Kane, Dele, Son, Moura, Vertonghen and Winks to all be around for that period, plus various others who aren't first choice but important squad players like Dier, Moura, Davies etc. I'm also hopeful Eriksen will stay

We just need to bring in 3-4 players this summer, and then a couple (1 player to complete for first 18 and a youngster) every summer after that

I agree. We've looked poor this season but had the rub of the green. If only we'd had this luck when we were playing well.

Exactly this. But we can’t get away from the fact that we have generally played poorly for months now - especially in the first half of games. We really need to look at our preparations for games.

Seen on every occasion what Kane is like coming back from an injury, but every time we put him straight back into the team, I don't understand it. At least he has the injury as an excuse, Alli on the other hand.....
Kane was simply off the pace..well not sharp and not having played enough with the Team. Was surprised Winks played when he had missed games...anyway ..maybe we can build on this ..so disappointing but it's obvious now we need to strengthen ..but..
Anyway I said Liverpool would be Strong even though I think they played crap..

The attitude of the players stinks, we only started playing after going 2-0 down, we should have been at them from the off, we played scared against a team built around Jordan fudging Henderson.

So poch had nothing to do with beating blood soaked oil fc and Ajax?

Also, can everyone stop saying we didn't try. We did. We just weren't good enough, weren't sharp enough, weren't talented enough.

And that can come down to a number of things.

But we tried. That I believe with all my heart. We tried. Anyone who thinks we didn't - please reconsider. Every one of these players tried.

I love Kane and what he represents, but I do sometimes resent the fact he is allowed to walk in to the team after injuries. He shouldn't have started today, and should have known it himself, but of course, insists he is fit. Which he maybe. But his football brain clearly wasn't there today as well. Which is more worrying. Captain hindsight says we should've started the same as the Ajax game.

I'm happy with us stepping it up in the second half, it's served us well.

I think that it is difficult for fans to see a run of early mistakes and diagnose what is behind it. Maybe it is preparation but maybe it is just a run of bad luck.
