were no where close to being like trumps america or even Continental Europe where far right parties have a large slice of the electorate we do have a lot of macarons like the dingdongs who kept talking to me this summer about love island. But on the whole us Brits are a pretty bright bunch.

Agree with all of that. Can't understand the attack on the reilgious? Religions tend to be of the live and let live variety (particularly now they've burned all the "Witches") and charitable in nature. Only the extremists we hear about.

Yeah... pricing the beers in a stadium at 'pub prices' rather than 'stadium prices' would encourage people to stay in the ground after the game/get there early, would it not?

Yeah, you can proclaim that line in the most proud and protective manner you can muster. I get all the context.
But if I'm the head of a large corporation being asked to fork over megabucks in a naming rights deal and the default consequence is having my company stamped in the same manner Spurs are branded by SO many fans in Europe and globally - 'The Jews' Club' - Unless my business was matzo balls or kosher treats, I'd be giving that deal a wide berth.
I'm not anti-Semitic in the least. Far from it. And I fully comprehend the embrace that Spurs fans extend to members of an abused segment of society. But business is about business. Not good social causes. This whole 'Yid' thing is doing for Spurs what Scottish sectarianism is doing for that nation's clubs. SFA.
Lots of people are committed to keeping the Yid identity alive. Many take it beyond a defensive response to abusive chanting and use it proactively to antagonize other clubs fans. Particularly at away matches.
But a great many care about Spurs eventually winning something. And they'll need proper resources to do that. Clinging to a religion-based identity is never going to allow that to happen.

It's amazing we have ever managed to get any corporate sponsors at all isn't it. Kind of disgusted with AIA clearly whatever they are they are Jewish or they would not have touched us.
Never realised holston was a Jewish drink thought that was salty wine. But as they say everyday is a school day. I am never to old to learn stuff. Kind of shocked at just how many Jewish companies are out there. Did not know about Thompson's either, never booked a holiday with them but I guess if I ever do I was smash some glass under my foot under a tea towel.

Talking to some guys that work in events, particularly the concert side. Tottenham hope to hold large concerts as soon as they can. These guys are desperate for the sound to be as good as we hope it can be. Fans are starting to get sick of poor sound with current ticket prices.
Obviously the more events that can be booked in early. The stronger the clubs hand will be with naming etc
It could easily become the premier concert venue when the transport links etc are improved.
