Yeh but the point is that young and black is the profile for the main offenders and victims so there is a reasoning behind it, you using yourself is not a good example as you don't fit in with the demographic. And as I say its not all its those that look like most likely to offend, so street gangs of a certain age in certain areas. Thats not the police fault, its the fault of those that are committing the crimes, the police are trying to ensure safety and for me there is no limit on how that is achieved. One life is one life too many.

I know I don't fit the demographic, I am saying how I would feel if the old bill kept stopping me when I haven't done anything. Therefore, I understand the point of view of those who aren't happy when it happens to them. That's it.

Well like I suggested earlier there is a bigger picture, their safety and the greater good of preventing huge knife crime in the city. Its a price to pay for living in a big city, or is that murder and terrorism? Anyway

I agree, there is a bigger picture and maybe stop and search is a part of it. I don't know. Though I do think that restoring the police numbers, which they themselves warned against cutting, would be a good place to start.

Of course I agree, the issue is hand in hand, the Police numbers need to increase but I think thats unlikely taking into account most cuts have taken place the last couple of years
 
Police numbers really do not need increasing, if the police behaved properly they could actually and should be cut further.

My sister who is a lead solicitor for the CPS tells me all about it. How the police arrive back late to the station in a patrol car by 15 minutes so they can book in an extra hours over time. On the odd occasion they have not kicked up such a fuss about being monotred they have even been caught out doing this, it is widespread.

Also they have tablets which they can access information on, on the go but they always claim they are broken or do not bother use it but go back to the station to run "errands" believe me or dont i dont care. But the police are after Arsenal fans the biggest bunch of tossers in this country.

Which is why I would not be surprised if their stop and search does work but comes across as racist, not because they are racist but because they are fcuking lazy.

*This comes from someone who was self employed 90% of his working life, you dont work you dont get paid. If that ever came in for the police they would all be on benefits the lazy useless cnuts.
 
I don't agree, in West Essex there are only 15 police officers covering the area from Thurrock to Harlow which is 29 miles. 7 out of 130 Burglaries are solved which means unless you catch them yourself your case is unlikely to be solved.

Serious crime including major weapons in the area I live (Grays) have gone through the roof since huge police cuts.

Technology, intelligent gathering and the controversial. More prison places and enough of the softly softly approach. Only crimes I ever committed were not paying tax on all the cash jobs i did. The police are welcome to stop and search me as much as they like same with CCTV cameras about the place, also much much longer prison sentences so nice law abiding citizens do not have to breath the same air as scum.

Also forget the liberal politically correct gonad*s and go after the irish scum community. My wife is Irish so i have nothing against them, but in Ireland they got rid of them by actually cracking down on their behaviour. If we did this in this country with these so called travellers crime would drop through the floor. Yes a few liberal democrats and Independent readers would cry and kick up a racket but the would be less crime.

The are enough police but the ones we have a lazy and the few decent ones we have our held back by stupid liberal laws and short prison sentences which mean scum soon return to the streets.

Break into someones house? see yer in 10 years you piece of brick. Carry a knife around? see yer in 10 years you piece of brick. Have pictures of kiddes on your laptop? see yer in 10 years you piece of brick.
 
Also with regard all this immigration talk from the commonwealth countries, personally I would let them stay but you got to wonder why none bothered with British citisenship.

We know a Danish lady who has been here 30 years, married to an English guy(sadly he has Motor Neuron Disease) and she moaned that as Denmark never until recently allowed duel citizenship she never got British Citizenship. Now she is one of those ones who will ever have to apply for a Visa or return home. Now again if it were me judging her, I would say a woman has worked her 30 years some of them as a school teacher and as far as I know never been in trouble with the police she should be allowed to stay.

But lets be honest and as I said to her, you got to be pretty fcuking stupid to stay in a country 30 years on a working visa and then not think that it might run out at some point. She did not take to that to kindly, but frankly she has been a fool.

If I went to work in another country for 30 years I would not think that gave me a right to stay, you would hope it would work in your favour at an immigration tribunal but gives you know right to stay.

The is something so stupid and ignorant about the older generation moaning about this, they seemed to live in this lovely make believe world and never thought about the future. Honestly I think most of the cases I have heard of the all seem on a moral level to have a strong deserved case to stay. But the other part of me thinks fcuk them for being so stupid.

Wont be me because I am to old but if my son lives and works in another country he has been brought up by to parents who know what the world is and he would have to check his residential status. If he moved to Australia and knocked up some ossie tart I would tell him though I am sure he would know anyway that he should make to get Australian citizenship rights.

A lot of this is just tory bashing, no harm in that they are cnuts, but should people not take some fcuking responsibility for their own actions.

I find it so hypocritical and funny at the same time in seeing the Tory press laying into the current excuse for a 'government' over all this whole Windrush debacle when the same fine example of the right wing press where screaming 'bloody foreigners deport the lot of em' or words to that effect from the tops of their front pages for decades.

On the 30 year thing, some 'simple folk' and I use that not in a derogatory way in the slightest, are not as savvy and relaxed with bureaucracy and dont want to poke the Rottweiler aka the UK immigration department especially in the current political climate. They rightly fear they may end in the likes of Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre. No holiday camp!

Before that, they never would have needed the information on those cards. Sadly though Corbyn is so ineffectual as a leader of the opposition or any other as he is intellectually incapable saying anything that is not written in front of him.
May must wonder what she has done to get so inept an opponent in the house of commons. I should get her to pick my lottery numbers.

They are both rubbish at PMQs. Corbyn can't think on his feet, May gurns and evades her way through it and barely comes across as human. But then PMQs is a load of out-dated toss that the majority of people, rightly, don't care about.

I wouldn't go that far -- she had the 'foresight' to call a snap election and lose her working majority to make the process of Brexit an even bigger clusterphuck. Try a lucky dip for the lottery instead!

Sadly it also makes Corbyn for me unelectable! Can’t stand any of the current runners and riders.
Jeremy is probably a lovely bloke to have a cuppa with. And Theresa would great if I was looking for German language lessons.
