Christian Eriksen

Alli is so tied to Poch. Without him he wouldn't be the player he has become - imo. Guardiola wouldn't play Alli he wouldn't get into the team. Poch by contrast puts complete faith in Alli, understands him, shows patience with him.

I think Alli has spent most of the season trying to play in very tight spaces. What Poch may not have done as well as Pep is set up our attacking movement as well. What went so well 2nd half against chelsea was players arriving into dangerous areas. We still need to develop our movement and finishing in the final third.

very much agree

It was a great shot and i can not believe that there are some who are saying the Chelski keeper was at fault.

Part of that is the narrative, if it was Courtois or de Gea = never their fault, if it was Messi/Salad/etc it would have been tossfest over the skill.

Said it before, it's quite simple
- Keeper didn't pick the flight of the ball (people who have played competitive sport would understand this)
- Eriksen hit the ball extremely hard (saw a stat that claimed it was 84mph+), it went high (lots of stills showing how much higher than goal it was), then dipped viciously, clipping the top of bar on way in.

A hit that hard with no movement that clips the top of the bar might have beaten the keeper purely for pace, add in the movement, dip and the fact that keeper lost the flight .. it's a good hit/goal.

I do agree that the press/media tend to have favourites, what i do not get is that i have heard Spurs fans point the finger at the keeper as being at fault, unbelievable.

The issue is our fans follow the media narrative just as quickly as people who don't watch our games ...

Scored against this season includes ...

Chelsea Away, United at Home, City Away, Everton Away, Madrid at Home, Juve Away
