We have to match or better their points until we play them at home then we have to beat them.
 
Well that was predictable. I don’t think we played poorly. First half was not good enough. Second chance we had chances that we didn’t take, and how many times have Liverpool scored late goals to win, and how many times for us to concede and lose matches.

They are a bigger club and spend more money and pay better wages thats the long and short of it. We have to build up to that level.

Thats a massive result for them. Beat their closest rivals with a last minute winner during an injury crises and guided by the ghost of Houllier or whatever way they'll fudging spin it. It's massive for them.

And Klopp has been there significantly longer than Jose has been with us. They have a system they know so very well up and down the club.

It isn't. They had no central defenders today. They still won. That's a mentality thing that we have just never matched for 50 years.
 
Three sitters missed, get what you deserve if you don’t take chances like that.

Bergwijn has missed 1 big chance against Chelsea and 2 today.

The Chances we created, Sons goal aside, were opportunistic not really created by good play. We ceded possession all game which brought Liverpool on us. Bergwyn’s was a difficult chance. Definitely not a sitter.
 
We had to take our chances. We didn't . Don't want to see Bergwyn for some time. We should have opened up earlier. Their defence collapsed every time we put them under pressure. We just didn't do it enough.
