***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs ManMour***

------------------Lloris-----------------
------Sanchez---Toby---Verts---------
Aurier--Wanyama--Dembele--Davies
---Eriksen----------------------Son---
-------------------Kane----------------

Sunbs; Vorm, Trippier, Dier, Lamela, Sissoko, Llorente, Alli

Let's get an early goal past the bus and open the game up! 3-1 Spurs

I reckon we get the guy that did the Newport dossier to start the OMTs, these aren' helping the cause at all.

Don't know if Eriksen is ready yet, I'll assume the worst and hope for the best!

---------------lloris
aurier----sanchez----vert----davies
----------dier------wanyama
--sissoko*-------dele---------son
---------------kane

*eriksen if fit (im guessing lamela is also still out).

If we can start this game with Lloris, Toby, Sanchez and Jan it will be a huge boost.

Get Wanyama and Dembele in front of them and then go from there, get some solidity from last season back. I know Wanyama and Dembele were poor against Newport but different day and all that.

People just don’t care about OMTs these days, do they? It’s sad. Making such pathetic effort, equivalent in volume to West Ham’s attacking instinct when they played us at Wembley. It’s about time we created some rules.
No wonder our season is not great when our OMTs are not even ok. Time for change!

Defend in numbers and hit on the break please.

This is the team that did the same to Liverpool:
  • Lloris
  • Alderweireld Dier
  • Sánchez
  • Vertonghen
  • Trippier
  • Eriksen?
  • Winks Wanyama
  • Alli
  • Aurier
  • Kane
  • Son Heung-min

Rules 6 & 7 don't look to have been obeyed.

Official Match Threads

1. There shalt be only one Official Match Thread and it shalt have OMT in its title.

2. Thou shalt not take unto thee a graven image of thy own choice should Tottenham lose, thy avatar shalt be given thee by the OMT gods and shalt remain until such time as Tottenham win again.

3. Thou shalt not take the name of thy club in vain, the OMT title shalt always have the name of Tottenham Hotspur listed first of the two teams.

4. Remember to observe the sabbath between OMTs, thou shalt not start two consecutive OMTs.

5. Honour the OMT gods' official representatives the administrators, that your days may be long on this forum that be Glory-Glory.

6. The OMT's opening post shalt inform the members of Glory-Glory of all things important: Who are we playing? When is the match? Where does it take place?

7. The OMT's opening post shalt not be too short, nor too long, but simple, concise and glorious, to truly honour the OMT gods. A possible starting lineup and pictures of furry animals are not frowned upon.

8. The first OMT posted once the previous OMT has been unstickied shalt be the official one, though there is no glory in one not of the required quality.

9. Thou shalt not start an OMT be thou not a known member of this forum.

10. Thou shalt not start an OMT be thou not a fan of Tottenham Hotspur.

dont know why I bother posting in such a horrendous thread but here goes:

ideally...

Lloris
Alder Sanchez Vert
Aurier Wanyama Dembele Rose
Eriksen Son
Kane

I think Dele and Dier will play however. Hope he doesn't not play Sanchez as he did last time at OT. Expect it to be cagey. But this time we need to take our chances when they are presented. COYS

I would be surprised if Dembele is ready to start this one having played 80 minutes on a heavy pitch on Sunday. Positively surprised, but worried that he would have to come off in the first half having struggled.

I don't think we can realistically sit back to counter as Mourinho will likely do just that himself and he'll be happy with a 0-0. I think we'll end up dominating possession as long as it's a draw.

Would be a boost if Alderweireld is back. Probably a back 3 if he is with either Dier or Son left on the bench. Dier, Wanyama, Alli, Eriksen, Son and Kane either with a back 3 or 4-2-3-1 if Alderweireld isn't starting would be my guess.
