Will be sensational to get a win, wouldn’t be too upset if we drew. Just a hard game with a stretched squad.

But all the squad players are settled these days maybe with the exception of Skip; and Pochettino has them all playing the way he wants.

Would take any kind of win!

Everton aren’t great but have solid home form

Typical game for us to lose unfortunately. With both projects losing we have a big opportunity which is when we typically slip up. 1-1 draw me thinks
 
After the erection inducing win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, we need to concentrate in the league. We have done well to win our last 3 league matches. We need to continue our winning run to stay in the top 4 race. It won't be easy against Everton who are much improved these days. But we have an excellent record against Everton, winning 6 and drawing 5 of our last 11 matches against them since 2013. And we beat them 3-0 away last season as well. Let's hope we will continue our good record against Everton by winning this match.

As usual, we need all our key players to be at their best in this match. Kane has not scored in his last 4 matches now. We need him to get back his goal scoring boot in this match. Kane has a great record against Everton as he has scored 6 goals in his last 3 matches against them. Let's hope Kane will continue his goal scoring run against Everton. Apart from Kane, we need others like Eriksen, Alli, Son, Moura and Lamela to do their part in helping us score as well.

We need to control the midfield to win this match. Everton do have midfielders who can trouble us. Wish Wanyama and Dembele are fully fit for this match. But Winks and Sissoko have done well in recent matches for us. Hope they will continue their good work against Everton. For all his hard work, really want to see Sissoko helping us to score as well. He needs to improve his finishing and be more daring to shoot at goal.

Our defence have done well to keep the clean sheet in our last 2 league matches. Wish we can have Alderweireld and Vertonghen back for this match. But with Vertonghen, Sanchez and Foyth still out injured, we have to rely on Davies to partner Alderweireld in defence. Davies did surprisingly well in defence against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. Hope he can have another good match against Everton. Let's hope Lloris, Alderweirled and Davies will help us stop Everton and keep another clean sheet against Everton. After all, we did keep clean sheet home and away against Everton last season.

Everton are winless in 4 matches and will be desperate to win. No doubt they will make it tough for us. We need to get an early goal to help us settle down and get more goals to kill the game off. Let's hope we will put up a good performance and get a comfortable win over Everton to stay in the top 4 race.
 
Potentially a tough game, we need to be fully up for it.

Everton have drawn a few at home so wouldn't be surprised if this one ends level.

On the plus side, their next 3 games are against weaker teams, so they might have one eye on points in those games if we go ahead.

Really want to see Kane scoring in this match as he has gone 4 matches without scoring. After all, his rivals like one-season-wonder Salah and Aubemayang has scored in their matches yesterday. I think Kane needs to play smart instead of playing hard. He should concentrate more in scoring goals instead of helping to set up goals for others or defending. Let's hope Kane will score and help us beat Everton to stay in the top 4 race.

Too many sodding fixtures though. Really is past time we lost a couple of clubs from the premier league.
 
City & Chelsea lost yesterday.
This is a very important game for us to get closer to City and further away from Arse & Chelsea.
Wont be easy though.

Looking at the 9 league games after today and comparing them to the teams around us, we have a great chance of cementing a top 3 position in the table, and an outside chance of being properly in the title race towards the end of February.

I think to challenge for the title, the points total will be so high that we need to win today. For 'only' getting top 3, today isn't particularly season defining, more of a bonus win if we can get it.

But seeing City slip up and watching Liverpool ride their luck in a few games this season (as of course, we have ourselves) does give me hope that we could actually get involved in a title race.
