    Is that really true though?

The Netherlands, for example, is set to go into some form of lockdown, they have rising cases. But i'm sure a few weeks back on here someone posted a tweet about how much vaccination western Europe (including the Netherlands) had done compared to the East.
Also, i'm pretty sure the Netherlands opened up before we did, though i'm happy to be corrected on that.

Many weeks ago Western Europe was neing envied by commentators and that the UK was a 'basket case' etc in terms of how much vaccination had been given out etc.

    I love the Fact-checkers!:D

Did you read both the technical briefing and this fact check (which relates to a much earlier technical briefing)?

Looking simply at the number of people dying from the delta variant the majority of those who died were fully vaccinated. If the majority of those who were dying from the delta variant were those unvaccinated, do you think we wouldn't be hearing about it?
The format of these technical briefings changed after number 23; I do wonder why..

It literally answers your notion as to why the majority dying were vaccinated in the fact check. As with other numbers you post, context is required and freely given if one is not trying to feed their confirmation bias.

As for the format change, it was probably the gay Jewish lizard NWO pharmacists that made that happen.

The east of europe is totally fudged and has been for the last couple of months. Ukraine is having 750 deaths a day. Romania, bulgaria, czechia etc... all death rates far worse than western europe. Russia is breaking records for deaths on a daily basis.

Netherlands opened up july, cases shot up so they imposed restrictions again.

It answered it in a very odd way: if all children across a certain age group are offered the MMR vaccine over a certain time period, if there are some children in that same age cohort that die of measles (or mumps or rubella) who die, when looking at the vaccination status of those who have died you WOULD NOT expect the majority of those who died to be vaccinated...the point of taking the vaccine is that the reverse would (should) happen.

Context is indeed everything and confirmation bias works both ways (as the BMJ's Peter Doshi has nicely highlighted recently..)

    Lol

Yes. Reimposing restrictions just suppresses the virus. So when you open up again it will flare back up. In summer the healthcare system is less stressed. People are out doors more, better airflow as doors and windows are open, vit d boosting immune responses. We opened the day we did because it was 2 weeks after the 55s had been vaxxed (takes 2 weeks to get full benefit) schools were on holiday. So we let the virus run through. Merkel criticised it as a dangerous experimet. But it seems to have worked.

The dutch pm i think got too much stick in the pressand panicked.

See the netherlands are saying it's a 3 week lockdown. Does he think covid will disappear in 3 weeks? Yes you might get numbers down in that time but they'll go right back up once you open up again. We saw that last winter. The lockdown will be till march now.

Daily cases 38,351 today. Lower than yesterday but a week on week rise. Amount of people in hospital continues to fall 8652. Deaths saw a slight rise to 157.

got this far and note something amiss…

“Total Cases admitted to hospital: 10,179. Of these:
    - number who were unvaccinated: 3,313
    - number who were fully vaccinated: 7,322”

    Lol. Someone can't add.

Also from that seems if you only have one shot you are 100% protected.
