The Official 2021/22 Premier League Thread

The big difference is obviously the cash and impact on ability to attract players this summer

We got Romero, Kulu and Bentancur whilst not being in the CL - I do wonder if the draw of the CL is sometimes overstated when it comes to player acquisition but it’s hard to male an objective argument either way, it’s all going to be anecdotal.

The big concern now is they have a big chance here to close that GD down. And that could still be crucial

GD risk is low:
- If they win 7-0 here, then GD is level
- then we win the NLD 1-0, so we're two ahead on GD, but 1 point behind
- for GD to matter, we'd need get 4 points from our last two games and Arsenal get 3 points. Say we only win 1-0 in the game we win so 3 better in total on GD....which means they'd need to win/lose their last two by at least 3 goal margin (ie win 4-0 and lose 1-0)

....so unless they win by say 8 or 9 today, I think its irrelevant

Doesn't seem to matter who the Leeds manager is. They play in such a naive and chaotic manner. They don't seem to have a brain cell among them.

Everton winning today and then have Watford next before two home games. They might be safe by the time they go to Arsenal

Surprising that Leeds have 34 points already. As someone said above, they play brainless chaotic football. They look like a lower league team, and probably will be next season
