Why is it the unvaccinated thats causing the high numbers?
Is it only them thats in hospital? If so why not just vaccinate them when they are there.
Vaccination doesn't stop you getting it or spreading it.

Or, remember almost 90% of the adult population in the uk is vaccinated.

Fully vaccinated people cleared the infection more quickly than those who are unvaccinated, but their peak viral load – the greatest amount of SARS-CoV-2 virus found in their nose and throat – was similar to that seen in unvaccinated people, which may explain why they can still readily pass on the virus in household settings.

The political party against all the measures and especially vaccination is the FPÖ. Have a Google about them, they are Nazis and during the pandemic have shown how stupid they are. The vaccine might not stop transmission but it certainly seems to stop you getting a bad dose of it. I thought making people have the vaccine was too far but someone at work pointed out you have to have x amount of vaccines here as a child anyway and they are just adding another to that list.
The longer this goes on the divide in society will only get worse, those doing their bit and getting vaccinated and the idiots that for whatever reason don´t.
Anti vaxxers in general are ridiculously stoopid in general IMHO

There is no might, it doesn't, every study shows this.
Every single one.
A doctor saying that anti vaxxers are talking BS that it doesn't, and then quoting a study that proves that it doesn't stop the spread is an absolute fudgewit.
He, and idiots like him, are driving the anti vaxxers and giving them fuel.
No one every won a debate by insults.

Did you look at the graph i posted above? Currently just over 20,000 people who are vaccinated are getting infected. Around 40,000 unvaccinated are getting infected. With 70% of the whole population vaccinated why do you think that is? Because vaccination reduces your chance of getting infected in the first place. If you are not getting infected you can't pass it on.

You are missing the point.
If you start a debate with insults, anti vaxxer, continue it with insults, talking BS, and then post an article proving that actually they are correct and the vaccinated can and do pass covid, do you think you will convince them?
Is it not more likely that they will point the to insults and "lies" or misinformation? They are now perfectly entitled to say, see we told you so.
If you want to bring people over this is not the way to do it.

I don't know anything about politics in Austria.
You do see the irony though, its the nazis that would be enforcing the mandate and demonising and turning the public against those exercising their free will.

It was widely reported to at the beginning of the week that they were introducing a two tier system, they've went from that too enforced vaccination.
Not really much effort.
And again, not in my humble opinion the way to achieve it.
Any news yet on what the penalties will be for not getting the vaccine or who will enforce it?

There is no irony and no comparison whatsoever between this situation and the Nazis. I do wish people would stop comparing ‘muh freedoms’ to 6 million+ people being murdered. Insulting an ‘anti vaxxer’ is one (quite hilarious) thing. Turning a discussion about their right not to get a vaccine into a comparison with literally being murdered is quite another.
