Arsenal will suffer more missing CL than we do for missing out, so I couldn't care less who gets fourth as long as it's not arsenal.

Even if Arsenal miss out on top 4, they can still claim to have had a successful season as they have won the FA Cup. After being in CL for 15 years or so continuosly, it won't affect them much if they miss out once. In contrast, just imagine how much boost it will give Everton if they finish in 4th.

Like the boost it gave us?

The same as us?

:-k

Everton are a big club without any ambition now. They are just happy to be a mid table club now. But they might get ambitious if they finish in 4th.

They're still minnows financially. Unless someone buys them they are stuck where they are. They will struggle with the extra games and the "glamour ties" will take its toll on the league.

and to think many people doubted whether Martinez could manage a bigger club

Not sure if he can manage a big club with ambitious and demanding fans. There is no pressure on him whatsover at Everton. I am convinced he will be a failure at Spurs where the pressure is too much.

if Liverpool and Everton get CL football next season, and Man U and Arsanal play EL football, it really gives us a chance to concentrate on the PL and get a top 4 place.......of course if we get the right manager and strengthen the squad correctly. Everton and Liverpool will have to cope with the pressure and intensity of CL and the PL, and Utd and Arsanal with the dredged Thurs nights and then Sun PL games

If Everton were to get CL football how far would they go?? I don't think Kenwright would authorise a spending spree and all the extra revenue would probably help them sign up Lukaku and Barry on permanent contracts. I could really see it ruining their season has they pick up more injuries

all he needs is a supportive chairman who will allow him to run the football side how he wants....of course at Spurs he will never get that whilst Levy is still here
