Would relegation be that bad?

It was actually after we got rid of Ramos and appointed Redknapp. If i remember correctly GB found it hard to look past the fact that Redknapp wasn’t young, well dressed and foreign with a sexy accent.

Something that some on here have never been able to look past it seems.

Ahahaha yes it was. I remember after the Arse 4 4 how badly he got ripped on here lol

A painful rebuild?
Depends on your definition of painful. I don’t think we can rebuild from relegation. We would need a team that can compete in the championship and that is a very different team to one that can survive in the premiership and build on. I think we would need to rebuild want to get us out of the championship and another to keep us in the premiership the following season. Both are absolutely not givens.

We made an odd the decision not to bringing bodies in January, irrespective of long-term ability, strange by the board. Get sterling in whatever it costs, get others in whatever it costs, even just for a six month load to be able to rest players and make sure we’re going into each game good players are not in the red zone.

You can have all the money in the world but getting a championship winning team together and simulated with a new manager in three months of the season ending is a massive undertaking. I was saying earlier today to colleagues that is slightly easier for teams like Leeds Southampton Ipswich at all because if they get relegated, they will keep a 70% of their players and the players they have got know how to get out of the championship and is used to it.
