I hate scouse and geordie. But I think for me the worst would be a strong Essex accent - I just think to myself "YOU LIVE IN THE SOUTH EAST OF ENGLAND TALK PROPERLY!"

Obviously can't speak for all of them, but I'd say enough of a sample size to say that with confidence.

Best: Scandinavians speaking english, Irish and welsh accents. South African is awesome too.

Worst: Australian. Was there for a few months, after the initial novelty the accent really started to grate on me!

The one that bugs me is the street talk of kids who speak perfectly normally in front of their parents. I hate being called son by someone younger than me and bruv by someone old enough to be my dad! I hate blud and shanking and all the gonad*s I have to hear dribbling out of these pseudo gangsta rapper, k Swiss wearing taco mouths. The accent makes girls sound dumb and like they need a good scrub.

As regards the Scouse accent, doesn't bother me at all but it sounds incredibly camp, all Scousers sound like Holly Johnson to me. Genuinely don't mind any British accents but English spoken in heavy French or Italian accents by people who consider themselves fluent really winds me up, that I guess though is down to the quality of their English teacher rather than the individual themselves though.

I don't think there is any accent that is terrible per se. It depends on the person. There are some examples of incredibly ugly scouse, geordie, scottish, australian and american accents, but also some nice versions.
