Easy to say that now, but the truth is Kane had several loans during which at best he was nothing more than rank average. Kane is a cautionary tale for me, the reason I am not quick to write off our youngsters.Kane is a fine example in the sense that no-one saw him becoming what he did, however his sheer attitude and workrate suggested he had an enormous determination to succeed.
