Transfer thread

That was a pretty good window. After Levy's comments, and access to the CL, I expected the transfer window to be good - but four starters who all increase the quality of the first eleven in Kudus, Palhinha, Simons, and Kolo Muani, is extremely encouraging. Also a clear sign that we do not have a glass PSR ceiling that is so problematic for Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Villa. Well done all around, and testimony to our ambition.

There is still work to do with this squad, which will take multiple windows imo but as far as deals for one window don’t think could have asked for much more. Once we get Kulu and Maddison back we will have options everywhere

Sort of. As he's still being bandied around Europe it doesn't really impact us this year, so it is awkward.

No it doesn't, and I hope he continues to develop. I think long term, he will be the signing of the season. But still a few years off untill we see the benefits.

But he was only signed this window.

4 actual certified starters is pretty unprecedented for us. Maybe the fabulous 7 is debatable but as a whole they didn't have the profile or recognition of the guys we've signed this window.

Generally quite happy despite missing out on the LB and in an ideal world a LWF but happy enough trying out the Odobert/Tel axis.

Munai and Simons can play LWF. A LB is the main big miss.
