Not sure what Liverpool's outgoings are like, but we have gotten very little back.

I suspect we will hold off on LW as we would rather wait for someone higher up the list to become available (in Jan) or we don't think anyone available is better than we have.

Something fishy's going on there. Some quid pro quo behind the scenes. The only out I see was something from the report in Bild which seemed to say that the obligation to buy is only triggered after a high number of appearances - so please stay fit Harry.

Jackson is 24 so if the deal works out they can conceivable get 8 or so years from him.

Kane joined aged 30, they actually overpaid for him considering his age.

£200m odd. With Joe Gomez also seemingly off, they probably recouped £250m ish.
 
Have we actually got any fringe players that are worth anything? Liverpool, Chelsea, Saudi Sportswashing Machine even Villa get decent money for their fringe players and we have to terminate contracts and sell for £5m to get rid of ours.

We finished 17th in the league. How much would you want to buy a fringe player from a team that was near relegation?

After this season Johnson will be a fringe guy worth something, one of Maddison or Kulu maybe even both. Bentancur might attract an ok fee as well.

Yeah, lots of folk automatically took against him and assumed (maybe even wanted..?) that he'd fail simply because of where he's from. Thankfully there didn't seem too much of that on this forum when he joined.
