From what I’ve seen and hear we aren’t after a 6
We haven’t actually been linked to any other than Cardoso

Some mentions of Agoume from Sevilla, never heard of him but seems to be quite highly rated and allegedly only 25m euros. I think we should see one of Biss or Bents, both getting to late 20's and I don't think we should extend both of them. Neither has dominated their position so it's time to try something different though I guess different could just be starting Gray instead.

The way Frank has improved players and made an unknown in Mbeumo a very dangerous player … I think Johnson has the potential to be lethal. Hes still young enough to work with. I’m expecting some serious returns on him this season.
They are so different in attributes it's never going to happen. Johnson is already lethal at finishing a certain type of chance, I don't really see how Frank can significantly improve that.

Which gives space for the likes of moore or any othe youth player we think could do a job.

Does philips get on the b list next season? Donley, devine, abbott...
There would still be room and I believe Moore is also on the B list, so doesn't take up any of the 25 spots. Phillips should be B list by now, unless loaning him out doesn't count towards the 2 years with the club.

"A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 2003 and has, since his 15th birthday, been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years, or a total of three consecutive years with a maximum of one loan period to a club from the same association for a period not longer than one year."

So Phillips not eligible for B list.

I like Madueke.

He's not club trained though I think. Left too early to become club trained with us.
I think Madueke looks very stiff. Like if Davies played as a winger and somehow got decent results but just looked a bit stiff / large / clunky compared to an ‘eel’ winger who wriggles and dribbles.

Not saying Madueke can’t be super effective, but he always looks stiff to me. Harry Brooks reckons Madueke will be fantastic and he knows more
than me about it. Also, we would have 2 Madders which would be annoying.

Looking at things from the Cheatski perspective; they are trying to stay ahead of Spurs by buying EVERY half decent attacking winger type in the world. They’ve bought nearly everyone, then Mbeumo rejects us and Eze rejects us and Cheatski think their plan has worked… but there is still Kudus and Lookman and Madueke and loads of others around.

What would really impress me is if Lange finds one of these guys for £15m rather than £60m; anyone can do that!

Worryingly and YES I do mean worryingly, Paratici was a fan of Dan James and someone else poor that escapes me right now, so clearly cannot spot these talents.

As soon as Spurs spend money on that sort of player, you know it is a big dent in our progress; we need to keep edging forward not taking steps back.

If we spend £150m net every summer, given our good first team and good youth, we can progress really well IF we don’t make poor signings.

E.g. Cheatski at one point under Mourinho had incredibly good players in every position but that is no longer true. Despite spending £2bn!

Sure there is a loophole that you can loan but if you register them on your b list for the prem. He'd still be classed as being at the club rather than on loan.
It's all weird. The saliba deal was so fudged up because of brexit. Somehow he classes as hg and i believe ct even though he was on loan in france.

Do you really think Chelsea are buying players so that we can't? I genuinely don't even think we look at the batch.
