We've had quite a few more decent January windows. Last year was good too, with Tel, Danso and Yang Min-Hyeok. We're certainly no worse than the vast majority of other clubs!

No. There are two issues:

1) Why would the player want to come when he will know his quality and that if he bides his time he can/will go to a genuine CL club? And that this season we are unlikely to qualify for European football, or at the very least it's unknown - what is his rush to come here, a club that is all over the place in January?

2) A player of his quality, a bigger club with bigger resources comes in once know he's available - See Semenyo....
