***Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea***, Premier League, Nov 1st 2025 at White Hart Lane

An absolute disgrace of a performance. To play like that in a derby is completely unacceptable. They should have won 4 or 5.

spacegoat Xavi if you like. When he went off, we were still utterly devoid of any creativity. I don’t fault the players. That’s on the manager.

He needs to sort this out. Our away form will deteriorate before our home form gets better unless something changes. We got a glimpse in midweek.

Utterly fudging shameful display. Of course he gets time but that is not good enough by a long, long way.

Agreed. Completely bizarre performance.

I don’t blame Xavi one bit. And there was some talk in this thread of the players not actually being that good. I don’t buy it. We have good players. We have players that are easily capable of serving up better than what we just saw.

They are clearly asked to play a certain way. It’s on the coach to sort it out. I’m not saying Frank be good or have good moments with us, but this was really really bad.

We need a manager who can do both. What do these players work on in midweek?
Same as they ever have.

Lets sack Frank, I'm open minded, let's then get Iraola in without Semenyo, Kluivert and Evanlison and see of he has a bucket of lipstick for a pig of our size.

That's the crux.

Frank for all his faults is eeking out points of what he has available

Having a break from here and football has been quite nice.

I couldn't watch until about 25 mins as sky go wasnt working well. Got ten minutes of the game and glad I switched it off when they scored and went food shopping.

Not going to moan and spout negative things but I strongly suggest if spurs' results effect you, then don't watch them.

I've had a lovely two+ months away from you lot (as I'm sure you have me) but watching less football 100% puts your mind in a better place, and in a more zen like state of mind.

I'm in the minority here, but I'm not that upset, the mistake was the difference, I see plenty to be positive about.

Last season I was angry over how we played pretty much every game because the philosophy was flawed, we're building something here, it's pragmatic, and you need to go through a phase like this.
Jesus mate I hope your right

That was genuinely atrocious. Our players looked like they’d never met each other. Every pass was slightly under or over hit. We had zero ideas. Even when we regained possession, we didn’t try and counter. We plodded the ball back to the centre backs and hoofed it forward. The whole thing was boring and frankly completely bizarre. I don’t know how we can be that bad.

It’s right that Chelsea also didn’t create much until right at the end, but if the most we can aspire to is to turn a match in to absolute dreck then it doesn’t bode well.

I don’t recall seeing our fans openly boo the team so loudly, not even at the whistle but when it was clear we couldn’t even carry out hoofing the ball forward properly. I personally would never boo the team but I do get it..it was just atrocious.
Our worst performance of the season.
And that's against a far from best Chelsea team.
Did nothing to deserve anything.

We got the ball in the last five minutes and hit a long diagonal to Odobert when Fofana was marking him. An utterly fudging stupid ball that would inevitably result in Fofana winning it easily. But we’d no other way up the pitch because everyone else was stood watching.

That’s end of Nuno level bad. Honestly, can’t believe what I just watched.

fudging embarrassing. fudge the xg they should have had 3 minimum.
I've never personally booed at the lane and never would, completely counter productive but I don't blame the fans.
The frustration levels are through the roof and rightly so, it's a shambles and has been now for 2 full seasons and I see nothing from Frank to make me think that is going to change.
I need to go for a walk before I break something.

Agree a bit…but that was really grim.
