Tottenham Hotspur FC v Swansea City AFC OMT

Very disappointed with this draw. Just like the Stoke, Leicester and Everton games, this is another 2 valuable points lost ! We are simply drawing too many games that we should be winning ! This is a game we should have won but again we just cannot kill teams off despite playing well. After the brilliant win over ManCity last week, it is disappointing we didn't follow that up with another win. And 4th seems like a jinx number to us. We always can't seem to get 4 consecutive wins in the league ! Apparently we have never beaten any PL teams more than 7 times in a row. After winning our last 7 matches against Swansea, we had a chance to do it but have wasted it in a typical Spurs way !

The disappointing thing is we played well and had many chances to kill this game off but we just failed to do that. Annoyingly, we were trying to walk the ball into the net most of the times ! We had to rely on 2 world-class free kicks from Eriksen to get both our goals ! Credit to Eriksen for scoring both the goals ! It is great to see Eriksen scoring again after so long ! In fact, Eriksen was the only one looking like scoring our goals. He badly needed those goals as it was his first goals in 13 matches for us. Before this match, he had only scored 1 goal in 25 matches for us. Hope these goals will boost his confidence to go on another goal-scoring run like early last season.

We could have won this match with Eriksen's goals if not for the stupid own goal by Kane. This is why I always don't like the forwards to to get involved in defending ! They tend to do something stupid when defending ! It was a school boy mistake by Kane. Lloris could have handled the ball if Kane had let it pass him. With the bad form he is in, it seems like nothing is going in Kane's favour right now ! Lamela didn't have much impact in this match. But was really disappointed Pochettino replaced him with Townsend so early in the 2nd half. With the form he was in before this match, Lamela should have stayed on atleast until the 70th min. Townsend did play well but he simply don't have the end product like Lamela. He wasted a good chance to score when he hit it straight at the goalie and also should have passed to an unmarked Njie late in the match as well.

We had the joint-best defensive record while Swansea had only scored 1 goal in 4 matches before this. Yet, we let them score 2 against us ! Really disappointed with the defence for their first goal. While the defence cannot do anything about Kane's blunder for the second goal, they should have better for the first goal. It was annoying to see the Swansea player having the free header without getting challenged. Big credit to Lloris and the goal post for the match-saving world class save late in the match. It would have been unacceptable if we had lost due to that goal as Swansea didn't have many chances.

We could have gone to 4th place if we had won this match. It is not nice being in 8th place even at this early stage of the season. More disappointingly, after the draw with Monaco, we are now winless in 2 matches. Hope we will get back to winning ways in the next match against Liverpool !

OK, I've managed to swap most of our stockpile of "turgids" as we do not seem to need them so much these days and in return I got us a batch of exclamation marks, as Spurs7891 used up almost our entire reserve.

I guess having the fewest losses, best defense, longest unbeaten streak in the league, finally putting in good performances after EL games, and all that with a significant injury list doesn't mean squat to you. It's a shame really, because there's so much about this team you could be enjoying.

Indeed, some fans are never happy.

We need to show more ambition ! All the big teams are inconsistent this season. We can challenge for league title if we are consistent enough ! We could be within 3 points off the top now if we had beaten Swansea. Being unbeaten in 7 matches is great but we have drawn 4 of those matches. Drawing too many matches won't help us much.

After just beating ManCity 4-1, we have dropped valuable points again. We need to be more consistent. Frankly, won't mind us losing to strong teams like ManU, Arsenal and ManCity if that means beating weaker teams like Stoke, Leicester, Everton and Swansea.

We won't be the only club with top four ambitions who drop points at Swansea this season. They are a good team and we played well against them.

It is good to be ambitious but if you set the bar unreasonably high, you will always end up disappointed. We have a really good team in development here but we need to give them time to grow.

Slow down. Match your expectations with the reality of where we are atm.

We really are a young team. It might not happen tomorrow BUT ther's a good chance it will happen soon.

Watch them learn, mature and develop into a savvy, exciting, united monster of a team.

We are a team in transition with a lot of young players ( who are still learning the game), you are obviously one of those who wants to run before you can walk.

Given the amount of times we have fielded the youngest side in the league we are doing amazingly well. It is obviously frustrating to see other sides dropping points and not taking full advantage but seen in context the future is bright, the future in Lillywhite!

I put it down to injuries and being unlucky. Oh, and we also lost our focus after going up against Stoke and Leicester, but we seem to have corrected that. I actually feel we could have been 7 pts better had the results matched our performances, which would put us top of the standings. But I'm more encouraged by the way we are playing and pretty sure the better results will come. Still 30 games to go.
