I had to watch most of the last 30 minutes yesterday. On Wednesday night for the last half hour I was in the kitchen, up the garden, on my knees behind the sofa…any time I did come into the room it was to see Micky clearing off the line or Vic pushing away Shaw’s header.

Had a voicemail today from my GP surgery to come in to collect a blood test form for an annual check up.
Think I might need to leave that for a while!
It’s been a heavy few days.

On my hols with the family in Turkey and clearly wearing this cap every day (backwards cos it's cool).

Outside and the waiter brings our drinks over and sees this and says

"Ohhhhh Tottenham Hotspur, champions of Europe".

Yeh baby. That's fudging right. Unfortunately this place is full of northerners so can't really gloat too much.

I've got three sons and I told them I don't care who you support - my mum & dad were Arsenal fans and big bruv is West Ham - but I'd prefer it if they supported a local team, rather than be a glory hunter.

Of course, I often took them down the Lane when they were young; £90 or so to have them look at the bloody TV gantry all game and revel in all the swearing, rather than watching the match, but whatever. They all became Spurs fans and they have been cursing me ever since until now.
