Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

All has probably been said already, but the ramifications of this win is massive! Think of all the young players we have signed and that have come up through the academy, and they win a trophy immediately. That can only be a massive boost and add massive amounts of confidence and belief that it can be done. The impact and importance of this cannot be overstated.
The future is bright. The future is lilywhithe!
Ange said it yesterday. To taste winning a major trophy is something that will light a fire and belief in the players that they can do it again. And it's something you cannot explain to them; they have to experience it. Here's hoping this is our equivalent to United's 1990 FA Cup win, which propelled them to the most successful team of the 90s and 2000s.

It meant more to us without a shadow of doubt! How was the overnight bit? A blur, did you find some all-night bars?
We got on a coach at 3am to get to Vitoria for 4ish, flight was supposed to go at 05:35 but was delayed 2 hours, was a bit of a blur really but the fan-park was open until 5am I think, we just went and got a few beers in there, good vibes with some pockets of chanting for a bit, bumped into a few mates too which was nice.

What was the immediate cash £prize for winning?

Your final UEFA Europa League (unofficial) prize money rankings for season 2024/25. Tottenham made +€10m tonight: +€6m is for winning the UEL final and +€4m is for qualifying for UEFA Super Cup.

This bbc article says £21m (and then £26m with additional share of prize funds) other places say only about £11m

It's just under £11m for just winning the finals. Runner up gets £5-6m

So when you add in getting to the group stage, win bonuses.... It will probably be the £21m +

Not related to yesterday but your mention of a 2 hour flight delay reminds one of my favourite Spurs related memories of recent times (which I’ve mentioned before on here) : that’s after the CL Final and being at the airport but flights were delayed. Everyone was obviously mega depressed and there was an eerie silence around the place with people slumped in seats or lying on the floor trying to get some sleep. Then someone went behind the desk and got onto the microphone and started singing “Can’t smile without you” and everyone across the two departure gates where we were everyone started singing and for a minute or so it was the absolute best camaraderie I have ever felt. Then it stopped and we all went back to being mega depressed. Thankfully nothing like that this time around.

Yeah I remember that Madrid trip home, was grim. Camaraderie is such a big part of the whole experience, in the ground last night everyone was hugging, high fives, handshakes all around, you lose together you win together, as I walked out I shook as many hands as I could and congratulated people.

Plane was full of happy, chatty (knackered people), when we got into Stansted passport control the lady at the front shouted "this way to the Champions League" and got a nice little cheer to end the trip.
