Tottenham Hotspur 2025 Europa League Winners !!!!!!!

Unreal wasn't it? Didn't get to see the trophy presentation because they turned off all the big screens. Do you think this was to prevent any further pandemonium? So I rewatched all that today haha

Still it was all more than worth it. As you say second only to being in Bilbao?
Great night in the stadium but I thought it was unforgivable by whoever switched off the screens. Yes, we shouldn't have been on the pitch but they took away the chance to see us lift our first trophy in 17 years. fudging jobsworth.

Just told my kids I’ve booked them out of school tomorrow so we can go and see the parade. More tears! I had to check they were happy ones at going and not sad ones at wanting to go to school :tearsofjoy:
Fair play. They'll remember that forever.

Haha. I can hear my son singing Barry Manilow downstairs.
Haha. I know I am going to get berated when I get home. After the Bodø 2nd leg he lasted until about 7pm the next day (pretty patient in fairness) before I got a FFS will you stop singing about bloody Tottenham. (Spurs are on their way to Bilbao).
On this Monday I was told off for “humming” too much.
Not sure how much “Waka waka …. We won it in Bilbao” I will get away with. But I’ll be going for it!!

Wearing my Spurs top at work today. Went by a famously nerdy shop to buy a book while we were out for a walk with a few of our patients, put it in a bag with the store logo (Outland). Get back, and one of the taxi drivers that comes every day to pick up one of our patients, rarely says a word, looks at me, starts opening his mouth, I’m thinking he must surely comment on Spurs now, he’s finally speaking! And he goes «you’ve been to Outland?» - hahaha. The store clerk asked me if I was happy with yesterday’s game thought, so props to him.

All has probably been said already, but the ramifications of this win is massive! Think of all the young players we have signed and that have come up through the academy, and they win a trophy immediately. That can only be a massive boost and add massive amounts of confidence and belief that it can be done. The impact and importance of this cannot be overstated.

All of the Arsenal fans at work today are calling it a Mickey mouse cup, like they have won anything close to a cup of this magnitude for years.

It's bigger than the FA cup in size, prestige, prize money, you name it.

They are coping as hard as they can

What time are people getting there tomorrow?

My twin boys (11) were in floods. It means the world to them, they even filmed the lifting of the trophy they’re so besotted with the club and hopefully this is the start of something big for them
Man, I'm jealous of you guys. My 10-year old son loves to play football, but can't be arsed to watch it. I have tried for the past 5 years to watch a game with him and the longest he has lasted is 10 minutes. Living in the States where the banter at school is about NBA/NFL or specific players (Ronaldo or Messi) probably doesn't help with piquing his interest. I'll keep on trying. Maybe in the next 5 years...
