One thing that should be interesting is that we'll see how much Frank benefitted from Brentford's approach to transfer dealings. IIRC, Brentford have the same owner as Midtjylland in Denmark - a club that, a decade or so ago, was considered as the forefront of player recruitment because they mixed a stats-based and a psychological approach. I'm curious to see which of Frank or Brentford will fare better next season.

Most clubs use AI to select their transfer targets now (and all use the same basic dataset), so there's not really that early adopter advantage Brentford used to have.

Pretty impressive. Although you've got to consider that Brentford got 21pts out of a possible 36, whereas Emirates Marketing Project got 21 out of 30.

Bit less impressive if you work out the points per game:

I read an interesting interview with Kristoffer Ajer about how Frank has appointed a sleep specialist at Brentford, to guide and help players to optimize their sleep habits. This has in turn had a positive impact on restitution and performance, according to Ajer. I am a big fan of managers with that kind of attention to detail.

31st July is first official pre-season game, so assuming everyone has to be in place by then, two weeks from there to Super cup game.
