Someone like Ancelotti then. But would he be a better fit for us? I doubt it.Someone more high profile/won trophies/plays better football.

So glad then take the time to let Fabrizio know

I don't know but he did much better than I thought he would at Everton. I'm not a huge fan but you often hear that successful managers wouldn't be able to get much success with limited ressources and he proved he could get reasonable results pretty much anywhere.Someone like Ancelotti then. But would he be a better fit for us? I doubt it.
It’s all that matters nowWhether you were ange out or ange in lets just get behind frank.
A great positive post....and all based in truth Steff. There is a lot of sense in the decision, and not much risk, as the points you make demonstrate. And maybe that's a good thing....you take an obvious path?. Who knows?I said a while back Frank was the manager linked with us that I felt the most comfortable with. Style of play? He's a chameleon in that regard, so I am not going to get chained to what he 'does' or 'doesn't' do because the truth is,m he sort of does it all. Let's see how we play under him for the most part...
...the reason the appointment makes the most sense is that he is the manager most suited to our overall model. That means in business as much as in trakkies! He knows budgets and prudence, he knows youth and talent, he is a data acolyte, he is a modern and media-savvy operator who will not step over any of the lines within the club or in the press, and he will absolutely produce a side that is top 6 competitive. Add that to his relationship with Lange, and it is absolutely the appointment which serves both THFC and THFC PLC best.
My take on the pitch is that we will be much 'easier' to watch in so much as the risks will be far less.
He'll get my full support because he is our manager, but I will add I like him/his potential appointment much more than Mourinho or Conte because it makes proper sense for the way in which we run our business and football club.
Seems flexible, adaptable and dynamic. All the things I want from a Spurs manager and the things the last few appointments have seriously lacked.
Shows the stature and mindset of the man

I don't actually mind a system coach but I think there always needs to be a level of flexibility aligned to that system. System as the be all doesn't quite work unless you truly have the players already suited for the system. Not a systems guy

Ange? (Season 1)My only reservation, and it’s not about Frank is…
Who was the last manager to step up within the league and be successful ??
Someone like Ancelotti then. But would he be a better fit for us? I doubt it.
Wasn’t from the leagueAnge? (Season 1)
The full interview piece is rather jovial and showcases him a bit as a person.

From all I have seen of him, and I'm not talking about the last week, but before any connection with us, I liked what I have heard and seen. (Inc this Linekar vid, a while back)
