The ITK of IDK
You can if you're Brentford. Not if you're Spurs, where the fan expectations are quite obviously different.Sorry you can’t use that excuse, Ange used that excuse but roles reversed.

His starting XI as things stand, with Kulu injuredAn XI without Kulu?!
A lot of work to be done this summer so it matters somewhat. But a day or two here or there probably doesn't matter much and these things will typically take some time.Does it even matter? The transfer window isn't open for another 2 weeks (?) and first day of training is still 3 weeks away.
Very difficult to say not knowing how we'll want to play. A lot of players there that are "fine" in terms of level of quality, but have to be a good fit to the system to actually be good enough.Yes. When we look at our first team and think it looks absolutely fine…we then need to assume 5 injuries and 3 being rested = take a good look at the second team as that WILL play a lot this season
It may be that under Frank we see more switching in of players on a game-by-game basis if he views them as being better fits against certain opponents or within a specific game setup. As opposed to having a first team/starting XI.Yes. This video gives a fascinating and open insight to how Frank adjusts a system to take account of the league situation and the opponent he is playing:It may be that under Frank we see more switching in of players on a game-by-game basis if he views them as being better fits against certain opponents or within a specific game setup. I definitely want some flexibility in our team, but we also need to have our own identity. So a base system that works well and then is tweaked for opponents we might struggle against. This video gives a fascinating and open insight to how Frank adjusts a system to take account of the league situation and the opponent he is playing:
Sounds like its all agreed in principle but final level of compensation still being worked out with Brentford which includes the staff members Franky boy wants to bring across.I definitely want some flexibility in our team, but we also need to have our own identity. So when is this going to happen? its like he is our Manager already but not yet confirmed. Spurs. it always takes days and weeks for transfers.
As I guessed earlier, this may be the issue here.I definitely want some flexibility in our team, but we also need to have our own identity. So a base system that works well and then is tweaked for opponents we might struggle against.

i'd expect less hamstring injuries with frank but with 2 games a week, quality depth is going to be crucial.

Look at where Wolves and Valencia were under him and where they are now. We treated him like turd and never gave him a chance.Forest are such an anomaly, all credit to our former manager!
I wonder what Sol Campbell has to say about this
This seems to be very good news as Cochrane is very highly regarded and will surely facilitate Frank's smooth integration here.
The Brentford forum I looked at a few days ago were very much in agreement that they didn't mind Frank taking certain staff, but at no costs was Cochrane to go (most wanted him as Franks successor). Cochrane has worked with Matt Wells at Spurs a few years back, so hopefully this will just work a that bit more towards hitting the ground running and getting that new structure in place fast. The Brentford forum I looked at a few days ago were very much in agreement that they didn't mind Frank taking certain staff, but at no costs was Cochrane to go (most wanted him as Franks successor). They are not happy about him coming aswell as Joe Newton who is highly regarded snd Brentford. The Brentford forum I looked at a few days ago were very much in agreement that they didn't mind Frank taking certain staff, but at no costs was Cochrane to go (most wanted him as Franks successor).
