The Youth Players/On-Loan Thread 2017/18

Keanen Bennets drives through the middle, nutmegs the last man and lashes it home, very nice. Deserved
 
3-0 now, Sterling with a header in the 6 yard box. Corner swung in from the right, Tanganga rises to meet it and heads it goal bound, Sterling flicks it on past the keeper.

Why oh why oh why did we take that corner, don't you know corners are not worth taking?
 
Well that first half was a joy to watch. They seem to be playing with a real swagger about them now. So many good performances, you'd feel bad in picking one out above the rest.

Edit: @spurspinter1 I think Parker is for the U18's so I guess some of these lads are under his tutelage. I'm sure I heard John McDermott mentionned during the game so perhaps he is in charge of UEFA U19's.

Yeah, McDermott takes this lot.

Only De Bie, Hinds and Lyons-Foster(all on the bench) are part of Parker's u18s. The rest are u23s.

Going by what commentators, the real test is keeping up the dominant performance throughout the second half.

It's decent that it's easy enough to watch, would be there if I was a little more locally based..

Just to say that the youth team are dominating. 3-0 ahead at half time. Hopefully that's a sign of what will come tonight.
 
Edwards cuts in off the wing as usual, beats a man as usual, attracts 3 players as usual, gets to the edge of the box as usual, kicks the round white thing into the corner as usual.
