He can only play CM against very weak opposition. It would be foolish to play him there against Denmark.
Strootman would be a much better option in the centre if they want to go more attacking.

They're both poor.

But at least its on tv, in France, its not even shown on tv... They only show one game a day

Lets be honest though, they do have a pretty average defence and a not very inspiring central two in MVB and de Jong. Other then the attacking quartet they aren't much, someone creative like VDV in the middle would have done well, hard working, good vision, not afraid to shoot from distance if nothing is on etc.

It is why I don't think Holland will win the tournament.

The Dutch goalkeeper is random, the defence is very poor, and they play with two hard working but very flat CM so they need their 4 attacking players at their best:

-Sneijder has had a poor season with Inter. Out of form
- Van Persie hit top form 6 months ago, and he isnt scoring like he used to.
- Affelay is still young and has been out all season with an injury.
- Robben is still suffering from his CL final and has even been booed by his own fans recently.
