If you ve watched their games this season - you would have seen a painfully average player running around the field a bit.

Berbatov aside - i cannot understand how he's managed to keep Hernandez on the bench. Top, top striker.

Like I've said before. Welbeck is a better footballer than Hernandez. Obviously Sir Alex wants a player in his team who works hard for the team and is a good overall footballer as opposed to someone who doesn't offer anything to the team other then being a great finisher.

Not at all. Hernandez is an awesome finisher. The best in the Man Utd team but that alone isn't going to get him a starting place in the team at all..
 
So you rather play a striker who offers less goals, minimal assisits and little physical presence?

If he played for Bolton or Wigan he d most likely be nowhere near England. Another Ngog, Rodallega, etc. Same for Jones and Smalling really

but he doesn't play for Bolton or Wigan. He plays for Man Utd. What a stupid comment.

Can't agree with you on Jones. If I were England Manager I'd start Jones and the only dilemma would be where! He is the best right back England have, but I think he'll end up as centre half. He can also play central midfield in a box to box role. The boy is quality, I wish we had him.

Not at all. But Sir Alex isn't a spastic. He obviously knows a lot more than you and see's enough in Welbeck to start him in games. I like the idea you bring up statistics. I know a lot of midfielders who probably have more goals and assists than Modric this season yet would you have them? If Modric played for Wigan would he be as good as he is now?
 
The point is - if he spent this last season at a bottom 5 clogger putting in the EXACT same performances as he did at Utd - willing to bet he wont even be mentioned alongside Zokora. Holt has been twice the striker this season but would he get ahead of a Top 3 darling? Like fudge he would

I'm supporting Holland at this one because of my man love for Rafa.


I hope Walker does well, but otherwise there'll not be much Tottenham interest with England (IMO Parker is burnt out for this season and wont feature much).

Why has Holt been better? Because he has scored more goals?
