Apparently Haye has signed his bout agreement and they are waiting on Fury.

Haye has said he has heard through the grapevine Fury will duck the fight and go fight Toney instead.

Jones time as #1 on the planet will come, would still say GSP holds a higher rank on him also. Jones is still in the early days of his career... Scary thought.

Jones will sort out Gustafson, then suppose we will see if Cormier goes down to 205.

It's difficult to argue that Jones isn't the best P4P fighter in terms of how completely dominant he's been in every one of his fights. Even before Weidman, Anderson had been in bad positions against Sonnen, Marquardt - even Travis Lutter.

Jones lost a round vs Machida, but was never really in danger - and nearly got arm barred by Belfort. A part from that no one has even come close to putting him in a a bad spot.

Once more, with Anderson you could see how he could possibly get beaten. Jones doesn't appear to have any holes in his game right now

david haye will fight tyson fury in september. haye will annihilate fury, huge mismatch .

Most likely yeah

Kell Brook - Carson Jones 2 this weekend. Interesting fight

but the real fun is in August and September:
Nathan Cleverley - knock-out specialist Sergei Kovalev
Enzo Maccarinelli - Ovil McKenzie 2  Maccarinelli fights are always fun with that chin of his
Ricky Burns - Raymundo Beltran which looks like a challenging fight. Certainly interesting after his life and death fight against that unknown Puerto Rican earlier in the year.

and then of course: Mayweather - Alvarez. If that's as one-sided as the Guerrero fight, I'll stop watching Mayweather. No point then

Looking forward to Mayweather vs Canelo.

Mayweather is one of those guys I hate outside the ring but love watching him, he's so good.

What was the deal with Brook and Alexander? a lot of ducking accusations going around I see.

Anyone watching the Kell brook fight? Its a master class from Kell at the moment but he has faded out in recent rounds. Looks like Jones will have to knock him out in order to win now.

Stoppage in the end, Carson Jones took a beating but think the stoppage was abit harsh.

Jones is fudging solid though.

I was too tired to watch the Kell Brook fight but did see the fight before.
What a turnaround from Derry Mathews. That counter-punch came from absolutely nowhere.

Also saw Stieglitz - the no name Japanese fighter.

Looks like Adrien Broner is going to take on Marcos Maidana at Welterweight. Interesting decision to for Broner to stay at 147 lb. Definitely think more fights are there to be made at Welter for him and those fights can give him a strong CV should he get through them. Maidana will be an awkward customer though if it happens. Never been stopped and will defo press the issue in the first half of the fight with some powerful punching. Can see Broner being too defensive though for it to make the difference and counter punching his way to a points win.

Would quite like to see Broner take on the winner of Alexander/Khan.

One of the best fights of the year, Figueroa - Arakawa, lightweight title fight. The amount of damage Arakawa was able to take, the amount of effort both fighters put in, madness

That was a real war.

Curtis Stevens - Gennady Golovkin next? after Stevens' KO in 1 against Saul Roman

I've watched ricky burns last two fights. He's just not very good.

And that decision is a joke

Agreed. But if he really dislocated his jaw in the second round, some effort to go the twelve rounds against a puncher like Beltran.
He was clearly losing against Gonzalez last time, very lucky that Gonzalez couldn't continue because of his wrist.

Do we have anyone in the UK actually worth the hype? Anyone that could be damn good?

It seems like they all get to a world title shot and either get found out or they fight the worst of the current belt holders and s****e a world title before losing it once they fight a genuine champion.

Obviously it's a massive achievement (and takes huge dedication) to reach this level but it's just hard to find anyone to get really excited about watching fight lately?

I think Groves and Ogogo can go far.
Groves is fighting Froch for the IBF and WBA super middleweight titles in November, I think he'll win convincingly.
Ogogo has just turned pro, so hard to judge, but he's shown a lot of promise.

If you're even a little tiny bit interested in the beautiful sport that is boxing, do not miss out on tonight's fights. Three world title fights in the same event!

First Ishe Smith making his first defence of the IBF light middleweight title against Carlos Molina, should be a pretty close fight.

Then the fight I'm looking most forward to, Danny Garcia defending his WBA (Super), WBC and The Ring light welterweight titles against Lucas Matthysse. I'll be shocked if this one goes the distance. Matthysse has 32 KO's in his 34 victories, pretty insane for a welterweight/light welterweight.

Then the main event. Number nine pound for pound Saul Alvarez (just 23) defending his WBC, WBA (regular) and The Ring light middleweight titles against the world's highest paid athlete (he'll earn at least £26.4m for tonight's fight) and number one pound for pound Floyd Mayweather who's defending his WBA (super) light middleweight title.

The first televised fight is Spurs fan (he's even tried to recruit Mayweather) Ashley Theophane vs. Pablo Cesar Cano.

That's about to start, come on you yiddo!!! :)

Unlucky night for Theophane, but did anyone see the Mayweather fight? Just pure masterclass, I don't think there is anyone that could beat him, not even Bradley/Garcia or Pacquiao.

I few mates said beforehand that Mayweather could be in trouble tonight.........i said 'no way', he is the best boxer that i have seen in my lifetime, no weak spots whatsoever. I like the way he makes other fighters, who are obviously great as well, look ordinary.
