The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

It’s what all players try to do.
Everton’s problems are not with Sánchez or the ref.
They have bought some strange players for some silly money!

Said this to the Everton fans at work. They have done with the Lukaku money, what we did with the Bale money, but slightly worse in my opinion

Don’t see changing the manager solving not having a striker or any/poor defensive line.
Can’t think of a worse transfer list since we bought “The Beatles“!

The gulf between the best and the rest in this years PL seems to be larger than ever before. Only 6 teams have a positive GD after 9 games! The top three (Spurs, City and United) have a combined positive GD of 59, whereas the next 3 with positive GD (Cheatski, Gooners and Saudi Sportswashing Machine) have a combined GD of 14! Quite staggering numbers!

That stat is skewed by Emirates Marketing Project having +28 already mind. That's just not normal.

Anyone fancy a Carlsberg bout of fantasizing?

Bear with me here...

Imagine....

We nick a late winner vs Man Utd after mostly a dour game, thereby going 2 points behind City before their game away at Pulis' West Brom....

West Brom should be 3 down by half-time but somehow go a gal up in last 15 mins, before they concede a late penalty that Aguero converts.

Spurs now only 3 points behind City going into game against Real.

We get a late equaliser to draw 1-1 vs Real and then win 1-0 against Palace the following weekend, a couple of hours before Emirates Marketing Project play Arsenal at home; Gooners nik a lucky point. Man Utd play vs Chelsea later in day and lose 1-0. Spurs 1 point behind leaders and 4 points ahead of 3rd.

Spurs go into international break "in the title race"...next match after the international break? Away to Arsenal...

Well, if Carslberg did fantasies...:D
