Bale is boring to watch these days.

Very peripheral to all of Madrids play. Just hasn't really happened for him yet. In saying that Modric was crap last season but has grown into it this one.

His productivity is good, 7 goals, 7 assists in 8 starts and 3 as a sub but he's not playing like the Bale we know. It's all 1-2s and little touches around the box etc, I don't think it's really him, it's not what makes him unique.
