Agreed about the wait but that doesn't mean we shouldn't believe the victims
Not stopping players from training or earning money what they can't do is play football. It's up to the police to investigate all accusations then charge or not whatever the case maybe. As for writing a letter the police would require an interview with victim to even consider going forward the police aren't stupid.
Perhaps there is another way. We all know this case has taken 3 years but what we don't know is whether that was "3 years work in 3 years" or whether it was "6 weeks work in 3 years". The likelihood is that it could have probably ben done quicker if they could throw enough resources at it. Tax payers money was inevitably involved.
So I'm wondering whether the FA/PL/EFL should just create the separate fund from the significant TV deals and make sure that it is accessible to the police and legal teams. It would be a way of football stepping up and making sure it is being proactive.
