The General Transfer Rumours and Speculation Thread

Not necessarily for a team that plays with the physical intensity of a Poch/Bielsa side

Kante plays at the perfect intensity for us... He is fricking everywhere and is constantly their most important player

He covers so much ground at times its looked like there's have been two of him on the pitch

He also passes well and would IMO be an outstanding addition to the team

Seen the "rumour" we approached Spammers for Kouyate, I like him and think he could be a good fit. dingdonghead Sullivan desperate for publicity for his porn business has supposedly countered with an exchange for Kane. Surely with all the money they are getting from us tax payers they could afford Messi.

Dembele is nearly 29 and got an long injury record, Kante is 25

Kante is by no means a replacement for Dembele. Dembele is excellent at retaining the ball; a CM pairing of Kante and Dier wouldn't be good enough when in possession

Interesting bit on Soccer AM today with a football statistician. One of the question's they asked him was if Arsenal needed a top #9, who would he recommend? His answer was Sebastian Haller, a player we have been linked with quite a bit since January.

How about a saucy bid for Sterling this summer? Disappointing season plus I don't see him as a Guardiola player; knockdown fee plus City paying some of the salary ;)

Would give us a option we do not currently have - a goal scoring tricky midfield player with penetration, speed and dribbling

I think he is a top player at a brick club

He reminds me of Viera

Pity the spammers directors are more vocal than their fans

I'm not convinced by Sterling when he's in front of goal. There were times at Liverpool when he was good, but there were plenty where he was awful and at Emirates Marketing Project he has wasted good chances. He's not a natural in front of goal. Aside from that he's one of their homegrown players, so I doubt they would let him go.

The Kouyate story reckons we went in for him last summer. I'm not sure why it's relevant now, but IF West Ham miss out on European football altogether, we could certainly tempt the player. That said, his contract runs until 2021 and I would expect their Chairmen to ask for something around the £80m mark for him.

Jonathan Calleri is an interesting player he really looks the part to me, good hold up play and one hell of a hard worker and a good finisher, the argie thing of course helps.

Am looking forwards to the summer window. Don't want to tempt fate but don't see many leavers other than those we want to shift and hopefully 2 or 3 decent quality arrivals

You left out the bit that he is currently earning £200K a week

Stirling is still a young kid.Working with Poch would make him a better player but he may be too arrogant to want to learn anymore even at this stage. We could try and take him on loan i suppose if Emirates Marketing Project don't want him anymore.

I think he's an instinctive type of players and finds it hard to fit in a team plan.
