Went to bed at 21-3 woke up to 315-3 incredible again, Brook & Roooooooot
I went to bed at the lunch break (ie midnight)when it was around 63-3 saying to myself, wouldn't it be great to wake up and find these two had put together a 300 partnership.

Then I said to myself - nah, not gonna happen ...

Think we were ton up at lunch, Brook had just made his 50? I stuck with it til tea (and have been hugely useful at work today) when we had a couple of hundred. Brilliant recovery from a bit of a hole.

Do enjoy seeing Neil Wagner take a bit of tap, sure he's a nice chap in reality.

Oops, obv forgot what the score was.

But yes do remember Brook got to 50 just before lunch.

Shame the weather stopped us in our tracks again
If we whip them out before the follow on I would defo put them back in again

Oh, Jimmie Jimmie! ...

01.00 GMT

10th over: New Zealand 25-3 (Latham 15, Nicholls 4) A maiden from Broad, though he still hasn’t found what he’s looking for – his rhythm.

Jimmy Anderson now has 10 wickets in the series, 10 for 67 at an average of 6.7. He has 28 wickets since turning 40, at an average of 13.60. “What’s he going to be like,” one of the Kiwi commentators says, “when he’s 50?”

The Kiwi commentators are awesome, really enjoying listening to them
To be fair in cricket we're lucky, not many knobs like we have to deal with football wise

It’s exciting that Archer and Bairstow are still to come back in to this side!

not sure exactly where, but still! I guess Archer, Jimmy, Broad, Woakes, Wood and Robinson just get rotated somehow.

The batting line up to get Johnny in is a bit more difficult though.

Great afternoon session for New Zealand, in fairness to them, after being made to follow on. Still 90-odd behind.

Or maybe more. Williamson still there, they bat down to eleven, our bowlers tiring, so just needs him and one other to stick around and we could even be chasing 300 on the last day.

Not that anything would phase Stokes.

Could be fun though.
