Cracking test match this, looks like if you can get set there's runs there but very hard to get in. Looks like the pitch is spinning a bit, should be a great weekend of it.

Now Moen, 33-2

Another tremendous start for England, its literally every test match they are 2-4 down for fudge all

Middle to Lower order gets us out the brick yet again

Curran is going to be some player

Do you think he has enough pace to bowl overseas when there's no swing, it really only swings consistently in UK, NZ and SA and intermittently elsewhere. On a flat track in India for instance bowling dobbers at 80mph (probably mid 70's at the end of a long hot day) will he get smacked to all corners?

That’s the only issue isn’t it

Hope we stick with Ali at 3, protects Root a bit more, I know Ali only got 9 but it meant Root was able to put on a few more coming in half an hour or so later. Problem is the openers, need to find someone or two who can bat for 15 overs!

A series win against the Indians is always pleasurable

I would defo be looking to get Burns into the team for the 5th test at his home ground The Oval

So frustrating for us (India), that's 4 times this year (2 in SA and 2 here) that we've bowled really well and set manageable targets (all between 194 and 287) in the 4th innings but collapsed each time. Seems there's a huge mental weakness in the batting, once Kohli gets out the other follow soon after. Even when he was out there was 120 odd to chase with 6 wickets left and they just threw their wickets away with no application whatsoever.

Thought Kohli and Rahane showed how to deal with spin really well yesterday, saw lots of negative comments saying both should have hit Ali out of the attack but I think playing outside off stump and coming forward to eliminate the spin is a great tactic on a dry turning pitch.
