Gutter Boy
Tim Sherwood
We have an option, but its not been exercised yet (different to Son). I imagine we wont out of good service recognition if there's a good option come up he wants to go withDavies has another year.

All football contracts run till 30 June, the ones today are just announcements of intent.Looks like Davies contract still has a month to go, so that's why he wasn't included the release update today.
I'd keep Davies. He's an experienced club man, happy to fill in across the defence. Reliable to do a job when asked. What's the issue? All football contracts run till 30 June, the ones today are just announcements of intent.
There's definitely something going on with him and Tel that are different to say Forster and Werner
I'm sure he is happy to fill in, but that doesn't mean he's good enough. He's certainly not a good enough CB, and with the number of young CBs we have who are talented he's blocking one of them getting some game time. As a LB he is so many levels down from Udogie and Spence is a better LB than him hence why he barely plays and if he does it's usually CB.I'd keep Davies. I'm sure he'd like some more regular football before he retires, he can go out with his head held high and a European winner....
Your argument falls down for starters by the fact he has barely played LB, so much so even transfer market now have him down as a CB. And he has been poor there, yes as a team overall we have been but we still look far better even when Gray is at CB. And he's just not dynamic enough as a LB and hasn't got the legs anymore, in fact he's only played a couple of EL games at LB and none in the league so you can't really comment on who's better at LB. I love Davies but his time has been and gone and next to no one is taking g Davies over Udogie or Spence at LB.He is good enough. He's a much better defender than Udogie or Spence for a start.
Quite simply there's a bit more to consider regarding Davies and Tel than the others. All football contracts run till 30 June, the ones today are just announcements of intent.

Vuscovic. His pathway and the squad number limitsI'd keep Davies. He's an experienced club man, happy to fill in across the defence. Reliable to do a job when asked. What's the issue?
Going on loan to Hamburg apparentlyVuscovic. His pathway and the squad number limits
Going on loan to Hamburg apparently
What's the reasoning behind this again? Or to put it differently: who are the next ones to qualify for becoming HG? Vuskovic too I would assume, that may affect his chances of going out on loan in Europe.Odobert is now HG for the league and Europe

Yes, that what I meant. He's 17 now, so has to play three years in England to qualify as HG by the time he is 21. A loan to Hamburg would not make sense from that perspective.21 and under and 3 years playing in this country
Vuskovic would need to play here first
If he does that with us I think he would also be club trainedYes, that what I meant. He's 17 now, so has to play three years in England to qualify as HG by the time he is 21. A loan to Hamburg would not make sense from that perspective.

But he does need games
We will see soon
Is there a way to get Vuskovic club trained while also ensuring he gets game time on loan?
