Not sure about those subs. I’d have taken Bentancur off and I’d bring on just about anyone up front other than Richi.

We didn't look for a LW and CF before Tel, Tel's purchase was confirmed before we made any signings.

I've also watched enough football to know that the expectations and assumption of a future player's progress are often very wrong and are rarely met. That is why its about what the player offers right now, of course with some room to grow, but if what they are offering right now isn't up to spec then the criticism, is fair because they are playing first team games, not development matches with the youth team.

If you think this is the peak of their powers and thus the expectations should be so high, then I frankly think you are talking nonsense

You're the one talking about developing as if there's some sort of guarantee as to the level any developing player is actually going to reach.

"We don't care about how they are performing right now, some day in the future they might be amazing, of course not based on anything we are actually seeing right now" 🤣
