Son Heung-Min

Son is still underrated by many fans and pundit alike.
It was a gamble by Levy initially but great it paid off.
Poch serverely underrated him and Conte knew what he was capable of when he played Kane deeper.
It wasn't that much of a gamble.

He looked pretty good in Germany which was a much stronger league than it is now.

Combination of getting over the injury, the lack of Kane being the senior player, the system. Back to taking on his man, doing a little bit of the Kane drop back to start moves, still a lethal finished and his pace has returned (Especially that first acceleration.

He's seemingly has stepped up another level, always was underrated but feels really elite now

Matched his goal tally from last year (in December), more assists than Eriksen now for us.

A bit of all of that i agree, i was surprised he was made capt to be honest ( did not think he was a natural) but its turned out to be great move as he has stepped up and become a leader.

the gamble was him winning something substantial with the national S Korea team in order to reduce his national service stint from 21 months to 3 weeks, which he completed in the off-season.

great interview by Son after the newc match:

In all honesty it was Mourinho who got it right with those 2, its just the rest of the team let it down.

Shocking performance from him tonight but what really tinkled me off was him constantly falling over at the slightest touch.
A few times in good positions he gave the ball away because he didn't stand up.
