Scott Munn

I think we could require something productive from his gardening leave, to make up for the disappointment of his career with us. Some potatoes and lettuces for the canteen perhaps

Ang on. Didn't we just win a trophy on his watch?

He was our Chief Football Officer when we lifted the trophy.

As I said when Munn first joined us.

I still can’t see why Levy employed Munn at Spurs.
I'm not pro or anyone the appointment I just don't understand why he's catching all the flack re Ange? If it's a case of following the corporate hierarchy, should Levy not be getting an equal amount criticism for hiring him the first place?

Why is Munn one chance and done, but everyone else gets to make repeated failings?

Best interpretation is -> he doubled down on the mistake

The signs were there at end of last season, the club must have had reflection points pre/post January window. In every one of those reflection points, evaluations, a decision had to be made, stick or change.

The reasonable interpretation (and I said it before the cup win, before end of season) is, Levy (historical data suggests) would likely have been inclined to change, the fact he didn't mean someone else in the senior leadership was backing (stuck their neck out for) Ange, logic says Munn.

I've been in those decisions at bigger levels, you live or die by that call. I suspect some part of Munn's pitch was the results would improve post January when players returned from injury, and with the addition of Danso, Kinsky, Tel.

Add in new CEO coming in, his role was probably up for review anyway (new guy can always out to bring his own), pretty easy to see the why.

Exactly.

Like Ange, it doesn't make it the right decision but it probably is. As you say, the politics and stakes are high at that level. We just have to trust that the employer / employee engagement model saw things that us fans couldn't.

Shouldn’t have been here on the first place.
Based on what. you didn't like his work in Australia, Asia or his work for the city group or you just dislike him because he is Munn which is a bit harsh but understandable as every one has someone they don't like.

So munn, donna out. Vinny and charrington in.
Is this the lewis trust taking more of a role?
Vinai appointment looks more like Levy's idea bringing in someone with PL management experience, in old interviews it does look as though he had a close relationship with Arteta so now maybe he works very closely with Frank & Lange .
Re Charrington looks to be an ENIC/Lewis trust man and also shown as a person of significant control over Tottenham Hotspur Ltd in Company House records.
A question was asked at the March FAB meeting, this is the answer given so would appear his brief might be to find external investment, he's not a football person.

Non-Executive Appointment: FAB enquired about the appointment of Peter Charrington as a non-executive member. Club explained that the Director of ENIC and former CEO of Citi Private Bank brings a wealth of experience and extensive networks from the corporate, financial, and banking sectors.
