Savinho

Also, I’m sure it’s been covered on here but outside of his standout season at Girona (9 in 37) he’s managed 4 goals in about 4000 minutes. Granted, he has a good assist record at Girona and City but that is very low numbers for goals.
I am also concerned about Savinho's output. I'm unsure if he is the real deal or not. We need forwards that score and assist a LOT. We already have "good" but for this kind of money we need a big step up.

I worry we could do a Cheatski, who signed a LOT of crap to find some gems e.g.
Rogers
Garnacho
Estevao
Neto
Kendry Paez
Felix
Sancho
Nkunku
Palmer
Mudryk
Sterling
Madueke
Kenedy
IF they had put all of that transfer money and wages money and time and effort into 2 or 3 star players, they would be better off.

He is not great at all and it concerns me we are signing someone on such money based on so little. The FIFA/FM nerds aside, I don't know anyone who is really impressed

Rogers was signed for a British record transfer fee.

I dont really see the difference between him and Odobert who I don't really rare at all.

The data does tell you exactly why we are looking at Savinho

He's pretty much elite at possession, he progresses the ball at a very good level as well, weakness is attack/goal contribution. Data below would say he's pretty much better than Gordon at almost everything, and look at the price he went for.

Savinho played for Pep Guardiola. His minutes were primarily in the domestic cups against lower league opponents or on the last 20 minutes of Prem/UCL games where they had a lead and kept the ball.

Gordon played for Eddie Howe and was mostly used as a Centre Forward last season.

If avalible for the same price and wages nobody would pick Savinho over Gordon. Even if you do take the data seriously, he ranked lowest in attack which is what should be most important here as our team lacks goals.

Not defending him, there was a lot of "what does he do", I gave an answer, technical player, doesn't lose possession, progresses ball (characteristics of almost all the players we have bought this summer), he has shown he can provide assists. Hard to really judge certain roles under Pep, I suspect Savinho has been stifled the same way Grealish was.

Obviously there is a concern around goal output as a team, I'd assume the one or two other hinted signings have a focus there.

Gordon for me is just Gallagher out wide

I would take Gordon before Savinho every single day of the week. Other than on excel they cant be compared
