Maybe its us delaying it, as we have a cashflow problem until we get Romero and Vicario etc out the door?

One curious thing is we're not linked to any other LWs, other than maybe Gakpo. And we can't going into the season with Tel as our only LW, esp as he's arguably our best CF at the moment too

In recent years we've not had as many leaks, a fair few transfers only came out a day or two before they were finalised. Just maybe we're not interested at the price City want.

We do not have a cash flow problem.
We might be in a situation where we want to make sure we've got players guaranteed to be heading out the door first before dropping another 60/70m fee.

We've spent big, and can't now be left with players we can't shift or backed into a corner and having to accept a brick deal for us because of deadlines.

Or the fact that City only just appointed their new manager and maybe he hasn’t yet decided to sell him, especially so if they don’t have a replacement lined up. City may not be the draw there were with Pep so getting the transfer of, say Diomande, over the line could be more difficult than previously.

Yes. But that’s not a cash flow problem.

Maybe you could be right. I’m basing what I’ve said on the reports that City want to buy a replacement first. They were said to be after Diomande. But I concede that it’s possible that we are waiting, or happy to wait, until we have sold other players.

Either way, it’s been dragging on since last summer. So just want it to be done or we walk away and focus on another target.
Think Diomande is joining Real.
