How about Havertz, Chelsea paid circa 100 million euros for him, Woolwich circa 75 million , all I read everywhere is that if you pay big money for players they are top class .I think we can get someone who’s better than Richarlison but not as good as the two you mentioned![]()

True but every top club in Europe is trying to do the same looking for top goalscorers it's not that simple just to go out and discover the next star player. It's not just Havertz who cost a lot of money there are plenty of other examples , Liverpool spent years trying to get in a top goalscorer, they tried Carroll, Benteke, Torres plus Robbie Keane and sent him back.Well that’s just cherry picking the bad ones that cost lots of money. We should be looking for the next Isak or someone young/gettable. It’s not like it’s Richarlison, Haaland or nobody.
And the truth is, before your new signing starts playing, you can never really know for certain if he'll be a Havertz or an Isak - regardless of how much you've paid or how well the player has performed previously.True but every top club in Europe is trying to do the same looking for top goalscorers it's not that simple just to go out and discover the next star player. Spot on. I was well impressed with Richi. Hopefully Frank has opened the Pandora's Box.He and Kudus done what most of our attackers can’t do and thats putting their bodies on the line and in between the ball and defender. When they both went off we lost that and the hold up play / directness from it.
Agreed, when fit he’s a proper handful, he’s just very rarely fit and that’s the only issue for me.Has always looked good to me and contributed with goals when fit. Problem is he all too often breaks down after a run of games. So as good as it was to see today (and midweek)
I'm not going to get too excited until he demonstrates his fitness over the course of a season. But if he can keep this up then happy days....
He definitely knows he has that in him - he scored one in the World Cup finals for BrazilFitness worries aside, that streak of goals in 23-24 was enough proof that, when fit, he can put them in the back of the net.
It's a wonderful start for him, with a bit of outrageous skill for his second that I doubt even he knew he had in him.
I couldn't be happier for the lad - I just hope and pray he stays fit this time. If so, we've got a pretty good duo of options up there in him and Solanke!
