At least it's 8 less Reform voters?!It is the real deal, unfortunately. It may not be his real name. I wouldn't want anyone to know my real name if I was as big a tosser as that.

Well I don’t walk in your shoes so I wouldn’t deem to say whether or not you are over reacting. I think it’s a valid concern to have but I don’t think this episode alone will be enough to spark summer riots. It all depends how much stirring of the pot goes on in the interim (things like the earlier post by Yusef about prostrate screening) but I think it would take another perceived big incident for anything to kick off.The family chats are really worried about summer race related riots and violence. Are we over reacting?
Well restore/reform share of the vote is an interesting twist. We need that division to grow. It is a fracture that could be exploited by a savvy political operator on the left, though I'm not sure if the UK has too many of those. At least it's 8 less Reform voters?!

The bookies have Burnham romping the Makerfield because Farage and Lowe are now having a spat, nice harmful splitting of vote happening.
Yeah that is good to see. Musk chiming in too is a red rag to him. Farage being outflanked on the right means he'll have to expose more of his own toxic opinions, which in turn might turn off more moderate voters. The bookies have Burnham romping the Makerfield because Farage and Lowe are now having a spat, nice harmful splitting of vote happening.
The greens have gone quiet without announcing any tactical vote. Wonder if they've got some loose commitment to electoral reform for fptp...
I'd imagine just boxing clever on their own. They know Burham would make a coalition with them, whereas Streeting would naturally swing Tory (if Garage comes second) or Lib Dem.
He literally rants on about two tier culture and immigration, talking about culture and parallel lives of immigrants
No one on here has said the father is defending the police, it is however clear he does not want his sons death to be politicised, which is being ignored...........clearly

He did not mention Immigration policy at any point in the speed he gave but here you are talking about 1939.

So now its immigration policy, moving the goalposts much because he does lay it on about immigrants and cultures sometimes lack of integration, so yeah weaponising the immigration line again.
For the Record:
"Now what has happened over the last few decades is, without anybody being asked, without anybody ever voting for it, we’ve been subjected to mass immigration on a scale that is truly unbelievable"
TBF, that sounds exactly like mentioning Immigration policy to me and not sure what any it has to do with the murder of the poor lad.
And I stand by the 1939 line, if you continue to parrot on about differences in cultures that don't exist in the main, based on individual cases of crime, then you are clearly trying to create a wedge in society and a blame culture where you are saying, we are better than them and there is the source for all your woes. It creeps dangerously into that territory and as a Jew in the UK I have seen it long before the Muslims and Sikhs were the target
You might not see it sat in the US but 100% here I know plenty of good honest people who are feeling the impact of hatred on the rise here, its appalling and fcuking rancid, including a rising roll back on how we treat gay people here.
Populism is rearing it's ugly head and duping the gullible.
Absolutely criticism of the police is fairI stand corrected as that was not in the speech I read or clips I saw.
I think the criticism of the police are fair.
The immigration comments were not warranted in this instance and those saying he’s using it to advance his political aspiration are right.
As it turns out, populism is still popular...(credit to private eye for that line).
It's interesting, I work at a factory with where we have a lot of immigrants, I'm not a stats guy but I would say that the English are a minority. Having lived overseas in a few different countries, it's not an issue for me as I think people should be able to work and live where they want to.
But one Brit the other say was talking about reform declaring there'll be no tax on O/T, if you tell people what they want to hear they'll vote for you. Working in a dangerous environment that impacts your health in a low paid job whilst supporting a party that want to privatise the NHS is an odd one.
Edit - I forgot to mention that a lot of the English workers are keen on reform and see them as solving a lot of problems. Many are the type who would say certain terms that I'd consider outdated and possibly hateful, but also when actually talking to people from other countries get on with them. But then occasionally you'll hear just really bricky jokes / comments that aren't funny or clever. It's a complicated working culture that feels a bit dated tbh.
